Discussion This game is so good now!!!!
Loved the original 2 games on the 360 back in the day so the bundle was a day one purchase for me, didn’t check the reviews because I loved them so much, I just wanted them handheld but then when I loaded up Arkham Knight boy was it rough.
Every update I hoped it was fixed but it was never playable on the switch, literal years passed and it just sat unplayed.
I know it’s better on other consoles and cheaper, (seeing as I had to buy a Switch 2 for it to be playable) but even if it is abit rough around the ears it now plays beautifully having it portable and playing so well was worth the wait.
People will say it’s still missing textures or effects but sitting on the couch while the world is chaos around me was worth the wait and anyone wanting a game recommendation I’d say go back and have alook at this gem.

City and asylum are peak. This game is better but its pretty ugly on SW2. Also still crashes every 2/3 hours for me. City looks miles better. Knight is the better game tough

I’ve been playing non stop for a week since I found out it plays well and it’s only crashed once so far luckily

it was a dumb idea to port it to the switch. It really pushed the PS4 back then and the PC port was a mess too. they should have ported origins instead and wait with knight for the Switch 2. I still hope they release a switch 2 version.

Agree, including origins. This is my favorite game bu far. Played it on pc, ps4, ps5, steamdeck and now switch. Only Arkham Knight on SW2 is kind of bad, it plays and its fun but the graphics, stutters while driving. Compare it to cyberpunk 2077 playing miles better.. WE NEED THAT PATCH/Switch 2 version

they had to downgrade it hard to make it kinda playable on switch. I think they should do the same they did with hogwarts legacy and release a complete new version and giving people who own it already a big discount. I'm not assuming they would go the way of Witcher 3 and give us this substantial upgrade for free.

I finished the story mode of all 3 games in the Arkham-series on Switch 2. Loved them all. If they could take full advantage of the Switch 2 hardware, it would be a 10/10 series.

Really glad to hear this. I had the original Arkham games on my PS consoles back in the day. I'd heard the Switch ports were pretty bad, but had heard the Switch 2 runs em decently. I just picked up the trilogy on a whim in Best Buy this past weekend and I'm excited to jump back in to them. At least until I run into the stupid Deathstroke tank battle and then I'll get upset again.

I beat Asylum a few months back on Switch 2, and it was AMAZING! I don't think you'll be disappointed! (Well, Knight is still the worst-running of the three, supposedly, but people say it's a lot better with handheld boost mode on, so! YMMV! lol.)

I have the “physical” trilogy on Switch. I know it’s not all on the cartridge. But I haven’t dove into it yet. At this point I am holding out for an upgrade for Switch 2. I think it’s coming.

There’s a bunch of them that need it. The Doom games, Nier Automata, Persona 5 Royal, Shin Megami Tensei V

I played this without playing Arkham city, back on the Xbox one and I may have done myself a disservice because Arkham city I hear some people say is the best but this was a 10 out of 10 for me. And I too have been waiting for a Switch 2 update because I haven’t played it since I beat it years and years ago, and just as you said it, what an awesome thing it would be to be able to play this portable. I did hold off on the original switch version because of the issues it had but the triple pack goes on sale all the time on the E shop so I’ve just been waiting for a good patch for me to dive right in.

I’ve only played it handheld , every now and then you can see where the graphics should be better but the small screen makes it barley noticeable, I imagine on a tv it looks awful but that’s not an issue for me on the couch when I’m ignoring the family

It’s not too bad on the telly if you go into it expecting it. I enjoyed playing it Docked, although it can look a smudged mess at times.

I pretty much abandoned this game with the final tank level being so difficult. But glad to see it finally be playable on Switch 2.

Thank you, I have time wanting to play those games ( Weird thing cause, I don't like Batman ) and with all the problems, I never got it. Now I can give it a try.

He's talking about the Switch 1 port specifically, and Arkham Knight in particular. When the Switch 2 launched, you couldn't even buy the trilogy digitally on its eShop because it would not run without crashing all the time allegedly. As others pointed out, none of the BamHam games are Switch 2 versions and even Knight lacks a proper X/S-PS5 version.

I played Asylum and City on the Switch and it was a blast. It took me less than 15 minutes to delete Knight. The graphics were rather weak and the Batmobile was near uncontrollable. I am glad to know the frame rate is better now, but this game also needs a big upgrade on texture and geometry.

I got this bundle on Xbox one for like $5 - $10…I always forget that I got it until I see it on switch

Merci de ton retour j avais joué tous les versions ps4 que j ai adoré , j aimerai revenir a ce jeu mythique mais j étais mitigé aux début de tests de ce jeu , donc les mises a jour ont bien amélioré ? Merci

I only play it in handheld and it runs really well I’m not into frames or technical specs so couldn’t tell you that but it’s smooth including the driving looks good (it’s obviously not the best version) and I’ve had one crash and I’m about 70% through. Again it’s obviously a switch version so expect it to look like it but I r stopped noticing because the gameplay is so good

Glad to see this post get some attention! I just finished Donkey Kong Bananza in the nick of time last night for the DK Challenge cards and finally cleared that off the backlog (I'll return to it one day for true 100% but not for a long time 😮💨) but during my DK binge I finally picked up the physical cart for this trilogy dirt cheap and it was the only game I had in my Switch 2 for the past week and a half just to download all the games and updates. 😅
Gonna make it a casual goal of mine to replay all of these for fall and make it to Origins by Christmas. I still have a PS3 copy with all the DLC! It's not the best Arkham but I'm still sad it never got ported to any future systems. Enjoy OP!

I continue to be disappointed in the performance of Arkham Knight, even after upgrading to a Switch 2. The Batmobile sequences (of which there are many) are still borderline unplayable.

I’ve only played it in handheld on boost mode and the car sections run smooth for me

I doubt we will ever get a Switch 2 version of this game due to the fact that Rocksteady’s most recent game was such a colossal failure.

One of the only games from the switch generation that is begging for a switch 2 version. I have no idea why we haven’t gotten this yet.
