Help w/ Virtual Game card transfer from Switch 2 to Switch Lite

Hello! I’m having an issue transferring my virtual game cards from my switch 2 to my newly bought switch lite. I used to have a switch oled but sold it couple years back to a friend and recently bought a switch 1. I did the unlink thing and now am trying to get some virtual game cards from the switch 2 but it won’t link to my switch lite.

I get error 2016 4102 and have tried everything the page has said to do. Does anyone have any advice or has fixed this before? Essentially when I go to link the two, it loads for a bit and pops the error msg. (For example I click pokemon fire red, try to link it and then doesn’t work just the error msg)

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Edit: fixed with such a stupid fix but found from another comment: “I ended up getting mine to work by plugging in the DC charging cables to both switches while attempting to do the link. Idk why this worked but it did. Soooo dumb”

So basically have both connected to charging, and on different WiFis and then it’ll work. Thanks Nintendo

Get help from Nintendo Support, they can guide you through the transfer process. I had a similar issue before and they were super helpful.

Damn glad it worked out, indeed a stupid fix, it would have been the last thing I tried.
