Other Free in game amiibo stuff!
So I have amiibo and I just realized a lot of people dont and or don't like rerolling in the Zelda games, so I figured I'd take requests
For the Zelda games you have to have the switch 2 to receive items
As far as I know all I can do in acnh is furniture
I don't know of any other games I have that I can gift stuff in

Question Need help
Hi guys. I'm trying to sell my animal crossing edition switch. It has everything that goes with it plus no damage. I don't exactly know how much I should sell it for because I bought it in 2022 or 2023. I barely even used the switch I probably have maybe 20 hours or less on it. I thought I would use it more in college but didn't. I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL IT HERE I JUST WANT HELP IM NOT TRYING TO BREAK RULES

Discussion Eshop game duplication glitch
I think this is the best sub to post this but not sure. Anyone else have this glitch? Thought I’d post this cause I found it amusing lol. As soon as I got to Crypt of the NecroDancer in the sales tab and I scrolled down and back up it would duplicate! Doesn’t seem to be a limit either.

Discussion Anyone looking for a grip/travel case for the switch 2, this one is probably the best on the market right now and only $26 on Amazon
I got this just last week and it is so perfect. If you are looking for something similar to dbrand killswitch but at a lower price this is it (and imo better than killswitch).
It has grips for the joycons that are just perfect, like very comfortable and secure, and the grips are separate from the body case so you can still remove the joycons easily for games like switch sports without having to take the grips off.
The whole thing is dockable, and there is a front cover that snaps on for travel so that every bit of the system is protected including the triggers and shoulder buttons.
The reviews on amazon speak for themselves at 4.8 stars it's higher rated than other other similar product on there, and this brand makes a few different cases for the switch, but this one is definitely the best one available if you go compare the reviews.

Question Advice for buying a used Switch?
I am planning on getting a Switch for Ring Fit Adventure* (and other exercise games). I know hardly anything about Nintendos, though (Xbox owner here). Budget is a factor. I don't want to spend more than $200 on the game + ring-con + console.
Any advice? A used one would be great as long as it works, but not sure what to look for or what to be aware of.
*I know Ring Fit Adventure needs the OG joy-cons whether I get a Switch or Switch 2. I don't have a preference between the two at the moment. Should I?
Question Am I screwed?
Just received a switch as a gift but the package got water and when I turned on it was like this. I turned off completely and putted like the last image.

Discussion Buying a used switch lite from eBay vs Buying a refurbished switch lite from Nintendo
I recently got my first switch from ebay and it was in excellent condition, to that point were I don't believe it was ever used, and i got it for pretty cheap. I am thinking of doing the same thing but saw Nintendo sells refurbished lite's direct.
Are the Nintendo refurbished consoles in good condition when people are getting them, to the point they are worth the additional $70ish dollars? I know that stick drift is a problem with all switches, and have looked into repair videos for these, and it doesn't seem harder then electronics repairs i have done before. Is there any other inherent problems with the platform I'm not aware of?
Also does anyone know how often Nintendo restocks their refurb lite's? I was hoping to get a color that isn't in stock right now.

Discussion I love the switch 2, but the screen might be the worst part of the system
Tried to play Signalis in a very dark room, and the darkest dark that the switch 2 was able to show with it's LCD display was still blinding by eyes, between that and the Ghosting that the screen has. I wish Nintendo spent a little more on the screens

Discussion Meh, still the best value handheld currently. You'll easily save more than the $50 increase compared to buying any other system. That being said, "Happy Switch 2 Price Increase day"? This is such a happy day, am I right?

Question Pro controller freak out
I was playing animal well last night when all of a sudden my pro controller went crazy. I could move with the d pad but every button I pressed seemed to be a delayed 'A' but very glitchy. I tried resetting everything with no luck. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it toast or can I someone fix it with a firmware flash or something
I also connected it to my pc after to diagnose but it only charges, the computer won't detect the controller

Discussion I realised that I joined switch family more that 5 years ago. How long do you have you switch ?
I was a poor teenager when I got my first switch. I worked hard and saved money for 2 weeks. It was extra difficult, because there was a switch shortage due to pandemic. Somehow I found a secondhand switch for a low price and I bought it.
I was so happy when I got it. Now I can buy any console I want and I own more than a hundred switch games, but nothing can make me so happy like my first second hand switch

Question I haven't played a Pokémon game since Yellow on the Gameboy. I haven't liked a single open world game (except botw). Which modern pokemon is best for me?
I like generally linear experiences (minor exploration is ok) and heard FR/LG or BD/SP might be my best bets. But I can't find good information on S/V because apparently it was too buggy in Switch 1? I just got a Switch 2 and am excited to start my first Pokémon adventure in 25 years!

Discussion Perfect handheld experience.
Little nightmares enhanced switch 2 version I got it today (it’s on sale for 7.49 dollars). It’s buttery smooth 60 fps with really good lighting and reflection . I also played the reanimal demo which I loved but probably wait for it to go down in price a bit . What other games do you think is just meant for handheld and is best played like that ? I play botw in my tv and games like these before I go to sleep in bed all cozy 😄.

Screenshot As announced by Nintendo, “Beginning on September 1, 2026, Nintendo of America will revise the MSRP of the Nintendo Switch 2 system in the U.S. from $449.99 to $499.99”
Did Nintendo not get their own memo…?

Question Games that play themselves
Starting to introduce my 5 year old Son to games.
He's only played MK World so far, which he loves because the game basically plays itself with the assists on.
Tried the new Star fox remake and on easy it was still a little too much for him.
I think Super Mario Wonder has a lot of assists like MKW, but I'm trying to find more games that have similar settings.
Any suggestions?
