Autumn kicks off with a packed calendar: major art festivals, big outdoor shows on the harbour, community celebrations, wellness expos, and stacked live music at the Opera House. Whether you’re throwing colour at Holi, going green for St Paddy’s, or wandering the Biennale, March in Sydney is full of energy.
Here’s your ultimate guide to what’s happening in March 2026. Let me know if there’s something I should add!

Im moving from Adelaide & my work is in Macquarie Park. Thought it might be easier to live close to work as I don’t know Sydney very well.
Anyone lived or live there that could let me know if it’s good or bad?

Hi everyone,
I'm turning 50 in a few months and my family is flying out Sydney, Australia to celebrate with me. They will be here for about 7 days, just parents, siblings and three children.
I'd love suggestions for:
I am currently open to anything. No particular budget constraints / looking for a mix of casual and splurge.
Thanks in advance!

Me and my partner will be spending some time in darling harbour together this year and I am planning on giving her a ring. I was wondering if anyone knew of any nice locations I could do this as she’s not really a fan of sentimental stuff happening around a lot of people but I didn’t want to just do it in the hotel room any recommendations are greatly appreciated!!

Hiii!
I'm turning 21 in two months and need venue inspiration!
Ideally, I would have a house party, but I'm inviting friends from all over Sydney and my home is not super accessible. So I'm planning something in the city as it is easier to access. I'm thinking somewhere we can have dinner, and stay for drinks as well.
My criteria for a venue:
- rooftop
- can accommodate 20-30 people (potentially more...)
- semi-private
- not super expensive (considering doing a bar tab)
- aesthetically pleasing for my IG feed xx
- bonus if said venue plays good music haha
Does anyone know of anywhere in Sydney that would suit?? Please give me suggestions!!
Thank u in advance xxx

So just went to Penrith JB hi Fi to find out they don't have any gaming handheld consoles on standby to test out or even feel out the store employee was extremely helpful and knowledgeable but couldn't think where else I could go to physically hold the current gaming handheld consoles such as Lenovo Legion go s or Xbox Ally rog or otherwise.
So I'm wondering does anyone know any specific stores i can go to to physically hold and fiddle around with some gaming handheld consoles.
With the new rog Xbox Ally X coming out in October this year I'm thinking I might get into gaming handheld soon especially since my gaming PC doesn't usually play nice during the Australian summer.
So anyone know where to go to physically try these Handhelds out?
Bonus points if anyone knows where one can try out some ar gaming glasses as the new Ally X20 has a bundle with some and now it got me curious to try them.
Thanks hopefully the weather is not too bad for y'all.
