Muddle-budding two like-likes positioned next to each other. Does nothing at all, but really bizarre and funny to watch.

They each had an armoured Bokolbkin right next to them. I was curious to see if they'd suck the armour off them. Turned out that just totally ignored everyone else and just took turns sucking each other's faces.

What's been the more entertaining unintended consequences of some experiment or attempted action you've experienced?

I love TOTK great game but anyone think link is a bad guy in the game? Think about it he goes all over the land killing “people” that are minding their business then he jumps them and steals their stuff and then goes all over the land taking natural resources that really don’t belong to him.

Help Wanted How do I get rid of a GBB seed I accidentally lit?

I accidentally lit a giant bright bloom seed and it's seriously in the way of a particular area I need access to for a dupe glitch. I've tried everything. I think.

Tips and Tricks Never played BOTW, loving TOTK. Should I play BOTW next or will it feel like a step backward?

I play video games super sporadically - will go literal years without touching one but when something grabs me I get super invested, and that's where I'm at rn with TOTK. It's the first modern Zelda game I've played - grew up with OOT and Majora's Mask but this is the first I've done since then.

I absolutely love this game, particularly for the massive open world, relaxed pace and seemingly endless side quests. From what I've heard it's basically an expansion on the gameplay of BOTW. Should I play that next, or does starting with TOTK ruin it?

Tips and Tricks Op weapon inventory items

What are some OP weapons you keep in your inventory?

Some of mine include:

\- scimitar of the seven with silver lynel saber blade horn - general use high damage weapon

\- lightscale trident with thunder gleeok horn - high durability, high damage electric weapon that doubles damage and elemental affect when wet

\- pristine forest dwellers sword with dazzle fruit - one shot stall enemies (sword over spear so you can use shield while dazzle fruit charges up)

\- magic rod with sapphire - freeze large groups of enemies

\- pristine forest dweller spear with puffshroom - give me instant cover for stealth strikes or mounting a lynel

\- pristine eightfold blade (with attack up modifier) with silver lynel saber horn - can oneshot any non miniboss enemy on a stealth strike

\- pristine royal guard’s claymore on breaking point with molduga jaw or silver lynel saber horn- lynel backscratcher

\- pristine zora sword with silver Iizalfo tail - one handed whip for breaking armored enemies

\- pristine eightfold long blade with gleeok horn - for catching yiga assassins mid attack or for one-shotting elemental enemies

\- biggoron sword with silver lynel mace horn - high durability for doing charged attacks against minibosses (gleeoks, taluses and froxes)

Am I forgetting any?

Game Detail I don't get to use the Eightfold Blade too often, but here I got to see it's might: didn't even need an attack buff for a Silver Bokoblin.

Struck the little monster just in time 😅.

I also just love how a sneak attack makes the monsters go all limp, for some reason I find the Lizalfos animation and SFX particularly funny. After almost a decade (counting BotW) of these games, I am still amazed by all those little details they took time to work on. I am both looking forward and sort of reluctant to see what the new OoT has in store. If it's any good, I do hope they do a MM follow up, been dying to have an HD version of it.

Help Wanted Need help about hinox

Recently I finally decided to 100% the game and I am now trying to obtain all the medals. I was doing the hinox and I am missing one, I checked with a youtube video, counted by hand all the ones I killed and there is one missing. The only one I can't see is the one in Hyrule castle that you kill during the main quest "Crisis at Hyrule castle". I did all the game on 1.2.0 and I just updated to 1.4.3. Is it possible that there is a bug and that it didn't count that one ? If somebody had the same problem please help me.

Help Wanted Looking for item sharing gifts

Post image

Just restarted the game with my 7 year old son on holiday after beating the game together last year. We just got a Switch 2 and discovered the item sharing possibility. Would be very nice for him to receive random items from fellow gamers. Thanks in advance!

Hopefully this QR code is enough, otherwise let me know!

Discussion Final battle reaction

(spoilers!) I'm just doing to do the whole post as a single spoiler mask, so be warned if you haven't finished and don't want to be spoiled (also: I definitely recommend doing your darnedest to experience this game ending with no forewarning, spoilers or inklings; I did my best to avoid as much as I could, though did have a minor spoiler, and am very glad I'd read next to nothing on this beforehand).

>!Holy wow. I think that was one of the best final battles and endings I've yet experienced in a Zelda game.

Finally did this last night (Sunday), and so glad I decided to do it before full on completion. At first I was getting a bit ticked off with the gloom maze slog (but I really should have seen that coming I guess). But damn it was worth it.

I had so much fun blitzing the monster army (very glad I'd finally started experimenting with gem archery - I've been so miserly with them until I cleared the armour upgrades). And then the early Gannondorf (oh boy am I glad I'd been practicing my flurry rushes - also pleased to discover I'm actually good at spear dodging, though never managed to dodge his speed blading with the lighter sword). Though I was so distracted by his footwork and blade work (he stole our moves!).

The phase 2 form actually challenged me a bit with all the mayhem, and the dragon form totally stumped me for a while (not least because gliding without Tulin suuuuuuucks - I was so distracted by that). Would have liked to see Zelda have a bit more agency though (I'd always loved that about this game series - she's pretty strong usually). Basically being a glorified airlift was a little sad for her - even just her sending light balls in the background to distract him would have been something.

But still, was really good.

But I loved the animation and styling in particular, and the interactive cut scenes (this game had me right from the start when we got to interact in the opening sequence). It was surprisingly moving, and really well done. And a big shout out to the score team, the music was pretty darn on point and a fantastic augment to the whole thing.

I'm also so glad Link never spoke. That was an excellent call.

I'd been holding off on finishing the game for a bunch of reasons, though mainly out of worry my ADHD brain would lose interest and never finish all the other stuff (I also find it jarring to go through a big bad battle and ending only to have everything go back to the moment right before the battle effectively). But this was so well done. I'm really glad I did it finally. Had just finished the bubblefrogs and wells (hilariously by accident with the last two, which was delightful) and then got the urge to see where it was all heading (plus also get the final compendium snaps as well as the completion statistic on the map). I needed a change of pace.

But yeah, very much enjoyed the ending to the game. Didn't feel anticlimactic at all (which happens far too often, for me anyway). It was nice to be challenged, even if the general format and patterns were age old time tested, they made them challenging enough to spot and actuate (at least for me). Once I got into a rhythm, the whole thing was pretty cathartic and just a pleasure to play through.Wonderful way to end the weekend

Discussion Where is the Gerudo male?

If Link was slept for 100 years plus the time between TOTK and BOTW shouldn’t there be a male Gerudo around?
I thought that every100 years a Gerudo boy was born and he was meant to rule.

F*ck that stupid floating coliseum.

I'm playing TotK blind, so I didn't know that I had to fight 5 different Lynels! I have played BotW, so I already knew most of their attack patterns, but it still took me 2 hours to beat it. Thank God that there's checkpoints after each 😭
