Get into Alexandria. First pack is fine. Second pull, tank melts and I have 0 clue on how but chalk it up to me being slow to heal and I've been running content all day for my relic so I'm a bit tired. We wipe but I rez PLD before I die. Then roughly halfway through the rez timer, they revive (in between the two packs) and die again.... ok...? I've had some special people but whatever. He comes back, grabs the first three. I go grab the other three, bring em back, and get ready to basically heal bot tank. He proceeds to not grab them, one aggros onto the DRG and the other goes on PCT. I ask the tank to grab aggro, and that's when DRG pipes up with that. We get to the elephant before the first boss, PCT starts casting something so I DoT it. PLD then stands there off to the side deciding that he wants to stick it to me I guess. Cue the exchange starting at "Yeah?" PCT tanks it and we get to the first boss. I'm going to assume PLD just gives up there because not even half way we wipe cause he doesn't mit for the tank buster. I'm also giving up here. We wipe, I say my closing comment, and leave. I had an inkling that DRG and PLD are a duo, but then it occurred to me that they were also from the same server. So, probably. I then take a peek at mit usage and uh.... yeah... you can see that...

Thought I'd never post here but the incredibly long Snowcloak tonight broke me.

Despite being level 90 with full 660 gear. My tank tonight didnt turn on stance until after first boss, never aoed, and stayed completely silent at all times. The only communication was the healer who thought this gameplay was perfectly fine while their own gameplay has me convinced the only buttons on their hotbar are cure 1 and medica 2 because they never casted a single other spell

Did not respond to any suggestions (though the bene cast suggests they were successfully reminded it existed, at least) ...And DESPITE spamming heals they allowed the dancer to die to raidwides. In Porta Decumana. How. Why. I'm left assuming this is a paypal mentor but truly what is the point in doing something like that.

One of the people in your party was in my blacklist and I am seriously burned out of giving blacklisted people second chances as they have time and time again proven myself right about keeping them there. I tried sending you a friend request and initiating a chat apologizing to you, but I couldn’t, so I hope you read this post. I feel really fucking bad about it, I know how hard it is to fill these parties :(

UPDATE: managed to reach out and /tell them last night, turns out they had a wonderful (/s) experience with the person and probably blacklisted them too

I was in the 97 dungeon leveling BRD on my alt. Our tank and healer were a duo in the same FC, but they seemed fine. Early on, the tank said they "had to use all their defensives," which I thought was an odd comment because, oh no, a tank had to use their tank buttons? Things weren't dying particularly slowly, so I'm not sure what they thought the problem was. They didn't say anything else though, so it seemed fine.

Our BLM was new to the dungeon and died a few times, but I mean, big deal. People who aren't first-timers die there. The tank barely waited for the BLM to finish the final cutscene, and I think the BLM actually skipped it when they heard the *ping* of the fight starting, but I'm not 100% sure. The BLM was dead during the last boss's phase change, and the healer wasn't doing anything about it, so I used a phoenix down on them. I thought it was just a case of not having Swiftcast up, but since it was the phase change, there was no reason not to just hardcast it. They died again at around 50%, and again, healer does nothing. I can't help this time since PDs have a 6 minute CD, so I marked the BLM with a plus thinking maybe the healer didn't see them or something. Was just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, y'know? They immediately change it to "target to ignore," and I say something. This is what ensues.

Note: When I said, "Easy report," I meant the duo, not the innocent BLM.

At no point did it seem like the BLM was intentionally dying, not putting in effort, etc. They seemed like a person who was new to the duty and doing their best to do their BLM stuff in an unfamiliar fight. Even if they did die in the wall, Hydaelyn forbid someone accidentally touch the wall while trying to do mechanics they've never seen before.

The healer never did get the BLM back up, so they were down for the remaining, like, 40% of the fight. I genuinely do not understand acting like this. It's a story dungeon, not a world-first ultimate clear.

Edit: I did report and blacklist them both!

Died twice to eating shit because they wouldn't even heal themselves. No I'm not doing the job of two.

Was in The Skydeep Cenote playing WHM with a BRD DRK and RPR I think it was.
Wiped on the last boss because I cast Aetherial Shift to avoid an AOE and ended up slipping off the edge of the arena.
I apologized for my screw up and since I haven't died in a dungeon in quite a while my first instinct of clicking anything on the side of my screen was to leave the dungeon.
I got genuinely so confused as to why I didn't respawn then I realized I didn't even press the damn button to respawn.
I really hope they aren't pissed at me but I know I'd want to hit me with sticks.

Green is me. Title is pretty self explanatory. Had two DRKs in two separate dungeons that didn't use mits at all. The first guy maaaaybe gets a bit more of a pass because it was Stormblood content, he was a first timer and a returner. I still had to ask multiple times, but at least he used Rampart finally on the last two packs then read chat and apologized. Not perfect, but at least not as bad as the second guy.

The second guy gets no excuses. It's level 100 content, he wasn't a returner, and had a few jobs in the 90s and 100s. No response even with the <se.4> in chat.

I wouldn't think this story is anything interesting, except I was gobsmacked it happened literally twice in a row.

So, I was doing my duty roulettes and got the Sohm Al. There is a couple of stairs right before the boss and while I was busy trying to pass the loots, I fell from those stairs. I'm thinking if these were pity comms or just people found it funny but here ya go. Being the punchline of a joke has its own benefits.

Wanted to share here because, well, I'm not seeing too many light-hearted posts about DF moments, I thought I'd share mine.

Doing daily roulettes with a friend (for our Aetherwell step (Relics)) and queued up as healer (WHM) with tank friend (GNB).

We got thrown into AAC Light-Heavyweight M2 (Honey B.)! Nice.. We saw 2 people in a cutscene (both dps), so we waited and emoted a bit. Barriers went down and THEN my co-healer decided to type "wait" .. Bit confused but at the same time I heard the battle sound effects playing so I focused on the fight.

Looking back at the partychat and I see him being salty and was dead, only maybe 10 seconds have passed. And the rest is in the screenshot.

We almost wiped because my screen froze for 3 seconds while I tried to dodge the hearts and got hit 2 times, surprisingly I didn't die.

I do keep rezzing them, who knows they stop whining but they didn't. After the second Raise I stopped rezzing them and focused. Several people kept getting hit here and there and I was running out of MP. (I'm SURE someone threw a potion at me or something to regain my MP (maybe's it's a potion from Occult Crescent I have no clue) But we managed!

Yes we reported him.

Yuweyawata field station in level cap roulette. I don't know if curebot is actually the right term for this but I'm pretty sure he spent 90% casting psysick so he's definitely got the spirit of one. No idea what his damage looked like (I don't use FFlogs or anything like that) but it was me on DNC and the other DPS on VPR so we weren't doing terrible or anything time wise. I mean it is just an MSQ dungeon, but yknow annoying you'd not only be doing this at max level but also freaking out at suggestions I don't even think were that rude, I was trying to be personable since I know it feels bad to be told you're doing something wrong

I did try to help the best I could but like I say in the screenshots scholar is my weakest healer. I actually only have it at 100 because summoner is my main caster. The level 30 estimate is probably generous, but I really am unfamiliar with scholar and when it unlocks stuff and I can't imagine it's any higher than that

Something not added to the last screenshot: the tank said they wanted us to kick them so they wouldn't get the penalty, didn't include it because that was just me asking if I'd get out free if they got kicked because I didn't wanna deal with it either lol. But that's the lead into the last screenshot for some context

Out of curiosity I looked to see what his levels looked like and I shit you not the only 100 he had was in scholar/summoner and everything else was either leveled at a 1, not picked up at all, or sage at level 70 (so basically untouched anyway). Crafters and gatherers almost maxed. I'm so confused

EDIT: I wasn't very clear about this part sorry, tank kicked like they wanted and other DPS followed. I asked them why not kick the healer and go on, they didn't want to. The tank probably wouldn't have voted yes on the healer if I did it anyway. I left too because (spoiling the game) this was on dynamis and it was a miracle I got a queue at all, there was no way we were getting a tank and DPS replacement that time of day in less than like 10-20 minutes, maybe even 30 given how most max level content is done through PF, not DF. Say what you want about the tank and other DPS because they're not me lol but I'll agree I could have been nicer to the guy, I was just so perplexed that I kept commenting which is my bad

Queued into M2N for my dailies and the fight was going... fine. Nothing particularly cursed at first, except the boss was taking FOREVER to die.

Then I started noticing our MCH.

They weren't moving.
They weren't soaking towers.
And their DPS was somehow crawling even during burst.

At first I figured maybe they were new, lagging, or just having a rough run. Then curiosity got the better of me, so I checked the logs.

Morning leveling as SMN. Worqor Zormor. We start running, I pull and I notice I have sprint but not the tank. I start running back. Mentor Tank just stands and does nothing and I ofc get slapped on the ground.

essentially I didnt know people were doing this and Ive never queued into a dungeon where the tank started with half their HP, so I was genuinely curious and asked. I didnt realize this would offend this tanks entire being. I just cant sometimes with people.

Kugane Castle. THERE'S a dungeon I haven't seen in a hot minute. Tank and nin both died to the last pull (the one with the fuck ass HUGE self-destruct aoes from the Harakiri Hanyas) literally just as I spent swift on ruby rite. So I hard cast a sleep on the pack that aggroed to me, actually had it go off despite forgetting Surecast, cast another sleep on the lone mob attacking the sge who was rezzing the pld, pld got up, actually waited to get healed, took time to kill the one lone mob, and then restablished aggro on the pack when they woke up and completed the pull without wiping. I'm still surprised it worked lol.
