Me and my boyfriend are currently at the lowest patch of our relationship right now. We both have our issues with each other and recently got into a fight where I was sure we would end things. I had a hard time breaking things off cleanly and he said that he wants to work things out but he needs time. We’re still talking but it’s not the same and I’m currently at a crossroads of wanting to break up if it would be healthier for both of us and wanting to stay and work things out together.
I think that the cards are pretty straightforward (though I’m still very new to this). Seven of cups to me says how indecisive I am or maybe we both are and the possible choices that I should weigh. 10 of swords shows me that maybe things can get better between us even after our lowest point, and the nine of cups and king of cups reversed shows the emotional ups and downs that would happen afterwards, but that maybe I’d find happiness after everything.
I am confused about the hermit and the two of cups appearing where they do. From my readings the hermit can mean separating to find answers within yourself to grow, but also finding answers together with your loved one if you’re in a partnership. But the two of cups can signify so much to me, balance in my life, new partnership, or strengthening of a current partnership. I’m assuming if I stay, we’d be able to work things out and heal, but also if I leave we’d still be able to work out eventually after individual healing?

The empress and sun are especially confusing me. They don’t read like typical “blockage” cards to me.

I think this is a interesting reading. I never get the lovers I see them all the time in the deck but rarely ever get them in a reading. Also justice was the clarifying card.

I saw an old talking stage on hinge today that ended things with me back in July because “he wasnt ready” for something serious.

I did a spread where i asked how person A feels about person B and got empress, 2 of swords, 2 of cups, and 8 of coins, for person B for person A i got 8 of cups, 5 of wands, 2 of swords, and magician.. from what i got with the 2 of cups it seems like there is a mutual attraction between each other but the second reading for person B (who requested the reading) it seems a lil negative? Idk maybe they are just trying to stay away from any arguments/competition with the 8 of cups/5 of wands, i do notice with both the 2 of swords came out so maybe they are both stuck on what to do decision wise or are choosing to not acknowledge their feelings for each other but with the empress it does seem like person A finds person B attractive, what do you think?
