APP Did TR change their search algorithm?
I mostly do wall mounting in a major metro and my recommended search position is currently 56th (on the fourth page of results). No client is scrolling that far š . Iām normally in the top 5 or 10, and understand reasonable fluctuations, but this seems unusual.
I also recently had a client bark at me for expensing wood shelving when they wanted wire shelving (they were traveling and asleep so I couldnāt reach them for approval) so Iām wondering if they maybe complained to customer support and hurt my account standing somehow.
Any ideas??

idk I keep dropping in the search results for no reason, all 5 stars given and I take all jobs requested.

Iāve done more jobs in my main category (TAHM) and Iām dead last in the ārecommendedā list and less jobs in other categories (Trash & Furniture Removal) where Iām 1st..
.. one Tasker was out of town for two weeks Tasking in another state on another coast and hasnāt done a TAHM in 3 months .. heās ahead of me !
If you inquire , youāll just stay at the bottom..

They are rotating the old, proven successful ones out for cheap newbies. TR loves using their platform politically to cut corners in support of illegals.

Yes, they messed something up again. Letās say Iāve been doing only electrical jobs for the past two years, and thatās the only category I have open. I was always in the top 5, and I know all the guys who usually work as hard as I do. We would always rotate between each other in the client search results.
They changed something a couple of months ago, and now there are some newbies showing up in the top 3ā5 spots. Another thing that doesnāt make sense is that, letās say, I do 5 tasks a day, which is probably the most you can realistically do in my category, while I see guys ranked above me who work in multiple categories. So if I work every day and only do electrical jobs, thereās no way they can beat me in terms of the number of tasks completed.
I think they messed up the algorithm, as always. Tbh, it looks like theyāre getting rid of the old workers and promoting newbies.
So itās always a good idea to have another source of income, because you never know when theyāll decide to kick you out.
