TASKER Scheduling error...?

Scheduling error..?

Hey guys, there's this task I don't want to do for tomorrow at 10:30am. I asked the client to cancel for metrics but they of course have not responded

I want to wait it out and see if they cancel on their own before the task

I'm just curious because Taskrabbit says "schedule before 11:59pm tomorrow" but the task is literally for 10am tomorrow.

Basically, what will happen if I let the time pass for the scheduled task? Will it hurt me as long as I forfeit before midnight, even though the task is scheduled for that morning???

I just really want the client to cancel themselves 😭 but they just aren't doing anything lmao

The request is for 10:30am tomorrow, but they leave a window open for scheduling because you could always agree a different time or even different day. As long as you don't confirm the task, and have the chat proving that you told the client you couldn't do it, you should just leave it to expire on its own. Sometimes clients they reply after ages but he/she will cancel when realises you are not free to do the task, shouldn't hurt your metrics 🤞🏻 never forfeit on your side, let them cancel or request expire 🤞🏻

Wait is it actually better to let it expire? I thought that also hurts your metrics?

No, if you let it expire that's worse.

Yeah that's what I thought I only had that happen once and they paused my account

When it happens it automatically pauses your account every time.

Just cancel the task. Part of being effective on this app is knowing when to take a small L to avoid a big L.

But is it okay to cancel after the scheduled time, and before end of day? That was my question for this post

If you communicated in the chat that you couldn't do, it shouldn't 🙏🏻 I would run to support with the chat screenshot and ask them to cancel😂
