What Gen TX22? They had issues with the early ones, with the recoil spring and guide rod beating the crap out of the frame and eventually breaking the slide.

And this is what you replace it with if you have a Gen 1; I have one in mine. They make them in different spring rates and for the other models and Gens.

I have a gen 2, and I already got the +2lb from Lakeline. I'm trying to fix the over traveled slide before trying it with a can.

Ok, so you know about Lakeline and the buffer setups then, other then messing with spring weights I dont know why its beating itself to death other then maybe +2 is to much spring weight.

I could see slight marks on my gen1 as well shooting just standard ammo out of it. Got a lake line buffered spring assembly in stock weight and it cured that issue entirely. Bought another gen1 and installed the lake line brand new and it hasn't touched the frame at all.
