We’ve noticed that characters who aren’t considered “canonically accurate” (for example, gith with noses or drow with human/elven skin tones) often receive negative reactions, especially since it’s seen as changing them to fit a beauty standard. While we want everyone to be free to express their opinions, we also want people to feel comfortable sharing their characters without receiving hurtful comments.
Starting now, any comments that are unnecessarily rude (such as calling a character ugly or insulting the OP) will be removed. Unless the OP specifically asks for honest feedback, please avoid unsolicited criticism. If you do choose to offer feedback, keep it constructive and respectful.
We understand this isn’t the ideal solution for everyone, but our priority is making this a welcoming place where people can share characters they’re proud of. Some players aren’t familiar with the lore, while others simply aren’t too concerned with canon, and that’s okay- even though we love our noseless githyanki.
If you see a gith with a big fleshy mistake on their face or an orc with small tusks, we ask that any feedback be polite, constructive, and offered in good faith rather than talking down to the OP. Obviously, any character that’s considered offensive will be removed by the team.

Edit: After reading comments, I wanted to clarify this doesn’t mean all criticism is off the table. The “unsolicited criticism” part should have been worded differently. Offering up any criticism is fine, but when every comment on a certain post is just the same observation and criticism it gets very redundant. So going forward, comments that just repeat the same point without adding anything new to a post may be removed.
TLDR: Mean/redundant comments get removed.
