Help identifying gender
Sorry for the bad photos, my tegu is very wriggly.
About 2 years old. Looks like a male to me but unsure because of lack of jowls and distinct femoral pores

In my experience if he lacks both the jowels and femoral pores, then he is probably a she

Wait until they poop, when my male poops his business sticks out to drop sperm plugs, if yours does the same then you’ll know for certain

I've watched my tegu poop and occasionally noticed two tube like appendiges pop out when it squeezed which is what has confused me the most. I always assumed they were hemipenes, however I've never seen any sperm plugs come out

Oh if he has those then he’s a verified male, I can see a male lacking either jowels or pores, both is odd, but the presence of hemipenes leaves no shadow of doubt to their gender

Looks like a girl to me? I'm curious what experienced breeders have to say, though.
