I recently thought about this when i just found myself looking at tekken 8’s dlc, and just for shits and giggles i counted which characters were in tekken 7 both when it dropped and as dlc and a whopping 7 out of the 12 dlc characters are characters we had access to in tekken 7, 5 of those being characters who were also sold as dlc, and i just think that’s really scummy, especially when you compare it to it’s predecessor’s dlc, while the reception at the moment was very touch and go depending on who you’re talking about, generally brought a lot of new flavor and style to tekken 7, newcomers like fahk, leroy, lidia, and not to mention in my opinion they haven’t dropped a character with half of the personality that somebody like negan had, it as a whole just makes the dlc characters feel so negligible and reused, which feels especially bad considering these characters cost more than tekken 7’s did. I’m curious to hear anybody else’s thoughts on this. I also really miss Miguel, i wish he was here 💔
A couple months ago I was on here struggling to see why I couldnt get out of blue ranks, now I'm omw to GoD. What did i do different? I took a break, broke my muscle memory and actually focused on what my opponent was doing

I didnt play tekken 7 for a long time, and when i recently revisited it, was surprised that ch low on wake up gives you a small combo. Which damage is comparable to combo from the parry, so for me it's pretty fair and it's kinda sad there is no more such feature in tekken 8. Especially when there are so many dangerous oki situations. Ehat are you thoughts?
I cannot believe that you have fun playing a character who spends his time yelling after every move and has a braindead moveset, so what is it ?

Rank context: in almost 2 months i managed to reach Tekken emperor and went tg before being demoted back, pretty happy considering I'm not a pro
Playing with 19 bucks controller on pc
Everything is a 50/50
Can see the throws but can't react on time (or i react wrong because once i see it it's a 1 or 2 throw i need like i20 to press the button)
Can't react to anything: if i block your low it means i guessed right or i was preparing a 'fc something' or a 'ws anotherthing'
Sometimes i find people that are so aggressive with +frames things into endless strings that the only way i can come back is by heat crush, guess it goes back to the reflex thing for ss but i always get rekt if try it so i avoid ss
Is there a character that can work with a slow brain like mine?
List of chars i usually win against: steve, kazuya, reina, jack, dragunov
List of chars that usually stomp me: hwoarang, jin, bears, yoshi, bob, the occasional low palyrate pick i never practiced against (ie zafina)
Hope at least i gave you a good laugh
Thanks

First day reaching TG and started meeting GoD. Three GoD players so far. THEY ARE WEAK!!!! This xiaoyu ate almost all yoshi tricks and not able to react to DF2. He ate yoshi bs more than I ate xiaoyu bs and that is the reason I won. GoD players can't be like this. Am I dilutional?

I like his uf3, while it's slow and linear, and leaves you at risk of being floated, it feels strong enough to justify it's place in the kit. + on block, guaranteed followup on hit.
Why doesn't it low crush properly? There's a really awkward pattern where I will be airborne, visually above a low, and I will be clipped out of it and floated. Surely with a move like this I should either be hit grounded, or crush it while airborne? It makes it feel awful to get the correct read on a low only to get floated by it anyway.

Been playing Tekken for a while and finally decided to pick up Tekken 8 during the sale.
₹2499 → ₹1499 felt like a pretty good deal to me.

I wanted only 2 items from premium pass of round 1. I dont have 600 coins to spend and I dont care about avatar stuff or fanart. Thanks for nothing Bamco. You destroyed this game with your greediness.

You know I accepted my fate when I saw the 36 win streak (This is the second match against them). I'm also ashamed of how badly panicked and just started mashing buttons. Now instead of learning from this and having a good laugh this is going to be the sole basis of my argument on why King and Armor King is broken and should be removed or at least have a feature where when you get grabbed it tells you exactly how to break it.

I use a standard stock sanwa jlf and i frequently jump forward when trying to ewgf on P2 side when inputting the forward direction. What are some tips I can do other than practicing it by doing it slowly over and over? If doing it slowly repetitively is the only way and is so important can anyone explain why? Because I feel like there is no benefit earned when doing so.

I play games with 4 connection and around 150 ms, this is supposed to be about i9 delay, it means that it is practically impossible to punish correctly some i13, Naturally I don't make it, but for some reason my opponents always punish absolutely everything I throw from i12 or i13, lately I wonder if the connection is really the same for both, because I can't believe all my opponents have even faster reflexes than a Formula 1 driver. Is there some kind of hidden trap here? Like the ones that does secondary counts?

Hello, I've replayed TEKKEN 5: Dark Ressurections and we got some cool chars like AK back again. After defeating Marduk, why didn't AK just kill Marduk there? Or is it just non-canon?

Been stuck at GoD 5 with my 3 mains and thinking about going to the monthly in NYC but kinda nervous. I know y'all are gonna say "just go who cares" and you're right but still curious to be able to gauge how I'd do before going.
