Doesn't it really say something how when he's asked about his dropping poll numbers he just immediately deflects to how the left is "transing kids"? Does this guy have any practical policies to talk about? I don't think so.

Northside ISD Librarians are using our tax dollars to purchase books for students. Parents and taxpayers should be looking closely at what is being added to these libraries and not blindly trusting the district.

One example of a book that is on that list is Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America. The book includes passages such as:

“The men we are taught to revere as ‘Founding Fathers’ were, by any modern definition, human traffickers, serial abusers, and political hypocrites who wrote beautiful lies about liberty while profit-maximizing off the backs of tortured human beings.”

And:

“America was not built as a democracy that slipped up and allowed slavery; it was built as a slavocracy that occasionally pretended to be a democracy.”

If you're a conservative parent or taxpayer, don't assume the district is protecting your values or your children's interests. Check the list yourself.

Look for books containing material you believe is sexually inappropriate, politically or ideologically biased, or otherwise inconsistent with SB 12 or SB 13. Document the specific title and content and make your own complaint.

These are public schools. These are taxpayer dollars. The libraries should be checked, questioned, and held accountable for what they purchase.

Don't take anyone's word for it. Read the list. Help hold them accountable.
