Help! i have yet to receive my aid and am begging to get worried. Does anyone else not have their aid yet, or know who i can contact to discuss this?

Also check your aid package and make sure you don't have anything that needs some sort of recognition like letters needing to be signed. You can check for those through your raiderlink under Student Fin Aid and Scholarships, then Documentation Requested and Submitted. If those aren't done it delays your aid.

Eta: You also have a finaid advisor who works with you personally. You can find them in your Raider Success Hub. Either Google Raider Success Hub or find it in your Raiderlink, click through the student portal, then scroll down to see who your finaid advisor is. It'll give you their name and email so you dont have to be transferred through different people

They actually stopped the dedicated aid advisor thing and it is more whomever you get.

You’ll have to email the office as the other reply said. Just know they’ve been taking a really long time to respond as I emailed them about this over a week ago with no response yet. Likely busy or something, I’m not sure if an in-person visit works if you wanna try that and see

Let’s get off Reddit and go seek some actual TTU resources. Google is a great friend for all your problems at Tech. Quite literally everything has a website.

There is one office to answer this, Financial aid. You may have better luck going to see them in person. One Stop is closed so go to West Hall room 301.

I havent gotten mine yet either. Emailed the financial aid office 2 weeks ago and still have not gotten a response. I called them last week and they told me it would be disbursed this Monday, but that didnt happen and it still hasnt shown up. No holds on my account preventing anything, and I verified with them while on the phone that nothing was preventing it. I know theyre probably delayed because of the Big Beautiful Bill changes, just sucks having to wait so long when classes have already started

Exactly. I’ve done all of my requirements and i had to enroll in the emergency plan but at this rate i still can’t afford that without any aid

Be sure yours is an OB3 issue. That is an easy excuse.

I mean they literally told me the delay was due to the new prorated FAFSA policies that came from that bill since mine was one affected by it

That makes sense but only if you are not enrolled full time. At least 12 hrs UG each term. I suggest finding 15 hrs and then you have the flexibility to drop a 3 hr class if needed and not impact your aid.

Yeah im only half time. Im a grad student doing 6 hours per my program. Would definitely have taken a 3rd to make it full time if I could though lol

Completely understand now. Again, so sorry that SoR is impacting you. That was definitely a late change in regulations that every school is having to adjust for. If you can, coming in person can help push buttons faster…remember West Hall again.
