I really love the fact that Gege subverted your expectations about him, he wasn’t some secret twist villain out for power, he genuinely wanted peace with Humanity. Too often is the “Diplomat pushing two parties into an agreement where they hold a a significant amount of power and influence” trope followed up by the twist that they’re evil, but nah, bro stuck to the terms and services.
