it’s my fault, i didn’t fully watch the video and read the pattern wrong but i was so proud of this up until messing up. and i realized i messed up after i cut the yarn. and now he looks silly. obviously he’s not done but im upset and could use some words of encouragement😭

also this is only my 3rd wooble and technically i never finished fred the dino. ik i need to be nice to myself but im frustrated lol

And I don’t really like him :(
I feel like I have screwed up a little but I don’t know where. Plus, I really didn’t like the yarn from the kit, maybe that’s it?
Has anyone redid a pattern but with different yarn (acrylic, cotton) and if so did it turned out better than the original?

So now I will have to sell one! I couldn’t find one reasonable now I have 2 😂

I am trying to make Oishi the sushi. I embroidered the black parts of the eyes but would like to add white, I'm just afraid I made him look like the ghost in the beginning of the first Scooby Doo movie or too much like a fly.

Could I have some advice on where to place white on the eyes to make him look a little less terrifying?

Having posted here in a bit and missed the community so thought I’d ask you all if you’ve ever made stupid mistakes when woobling? Last night I was working in Mort the Grim Reaper and forgot to count the stitches in the row I just finished and moved onto the next only to find out I had screwed up the previous round. Wasn’t able to just go back and redo the previous round though and had to undo all my progress and start over. 😭 had already gotten past the color change and everything.

Felix the Fox is my first Wooble (I haven't crocheted since my mother taught me about 50 years ago!). My goal is to get good enough with color changes and tight stitches to make an Earth hacky sack like the one in the pic. I volunteer at the local children's science museum and would like to donate some for them to sell in their shop.

Im working on Gandalf and Im a bit bothered by the fact that the beard is off center from the eyes and mustache. That seems to be part of the pattern (i recounted and compared with the pattern images) and I believe it is caused by the stitch on row 10. I'm trying to figure out how I can modify the pattern to fix this. Have anyone found any solutions or have any ideas?

OMG! This wooble is so cute but man his bangs were stressful! I feel like I couldn’t get it down and then I couldn’t get his arms to be symmetrical which I think says something about my tension. I can’t figure out which tension is just right!

I was at Target yesterday (I’ll refrain from political content but: I KNOW 😩) and spotted Buster and Hugo on the bottom shelf of an end cap with a bunch of Mondo Llama pet-related craft kits on clearance. Unfortunately I didn’t take a photo but there wasn’t signage so I pulled out my phone to check and to my surprise they were listed as Clearance and $19.49 each!

So I grabbed one of each (mourned for a moment that there were no Nicos) but by the time I got to the checkout I was tired and the line for self checkout was long so I went through a normal/cashier checkout and we were chatting and I completely failed to pay attention to the price. When I got home and glanced at the receipt I realized they’d rung up at 29.99. So I checked the app again, at which point I noticed the “When purchased online”.

As you can see, they’re unavailable for shipping, delivery, or pickup and even if they are in stock at your store they direct you to “Visit store to purchase.” But if you purchase in store, you get charged the in-store price.

Their help guidance says they should price match between the store and website at the time of purchase or within 14 days, so I chatted with Support… and they told me that price matches don’t apply to Clearance Items. 🙃 They did offer me (and I accepted) a “refund / replacement” as a “one time exception” because I am a “valued guest,” which could only be in the form of a gift card and not an actual refund, and when I received it after the chat it was only $20 and not the full $30 difference.

So please note that some Woobles kits are on clearance online, but are unavailable, but may be in your local store, but are not on clearance.

I wish I had been paying attention at checkout because I feel like a cashier may have had the ability / inclination to just do the manual price match and not play Catch 22, so if anyone wants to give this a shot, let me know how it goes.

Also, it looks like you can actually get Pinya on “clearance” shipped, but of course she’s only 15% off and not 35% like the other three.

Hello, do my stitches look too small? I feel like my wooble is a bit smaller than it should be for (4” x 4.5”). Mine measures to about 3.75”.

It’s the kit for “Biggie.” I was looking for a Bigfoot Wooble, but their closest is the Yeti. It looks amazing. Imagine: a little envelope with no HOLE! Gosh, does this mean I don’t need to buy a tin??? 🙄

Now I need to try it, and see how the instructional videos are. I’ve only been crocheting for about two months, and have completed a bee, a pumpkin, and a brown yeti that really looks more like a puppy with big ears! 🤦🏻‍♀️

So I've been seeing a lot of articles about Dollys imagination library shutting down in some states. Do you think if a few hundred of us suggested that wobbles do a Dolly wooble and then donate the profit to her Library to fund the states that have cut it they'd consider it? Or if each Dolly sold donates one book or something would be cool too. What do y'all think?
