I genuinely think my boy deserves a decent ending. That ending in Deadly Shadows was clearly left open for a continuation, don’t fucking mess with me. And Thief: Legacy of Shadows? They can shove that cheap excuse for a “legacy” wherever the hell they please. That whole “And Garrett disappeared into the shadows” bullshit? Oh, come the fuck on. A legend like him cannot end like that. He deserves a proper, high-quality ending, not this fucking nonsense. I was so pissed off and I actually cried over it.

How the hell do you just leave him behind like that? He doesn’t deserve that.

THAT’S WHY I genuinely believe—ridiculous as it may sound—that sometime in the next few years, we’ll get a new Thief. I’m not expecting some massive AAA game, but please, give me a damn good AA game. Just make it well-made, make it worthy of Thief, and if they want to, they can finally give my boy an ending—but a proper ending, the kind he actually deserves.
