I’m glad you have arrived to clear things up. Don’t know where we would be without you

The redditor literally asked "what tape". Slowdown the sassiness and take better pictures

I don't use anything. What's the tape for?

Rather than ratcheting. I use this ratchet like a ratcheting screwdriver.

That's great. But you are not explaining what the tape is for.

The tape is for leverage to twist the bit with my fingers while the ratchet rests in the palm of my hand

I get that, I have a round head I use like that too but I don't use the tape I just use it as is. I love mine! I just wasn't sure I was understanding your use case. 👍

Go buy a lathe, create the tool you want. No one else wants it, only you can do it.

More realistically, what you want seems tailor made for 3d printing. Couple of half shells clamped together by screws would seem easy enough to do. Throw a bit of texture of your choice on and call it a day.

Seems like a perfect excuse to get a 3d printer. Im still looking for a reason to justify one.

That’s crazy, this is my pocket carry with my 2 hose clamp nut drivers. Guess we had really similar ideas. What I did was 3d print the spin knob around the 1/4 hex with calipers for a perfect fit. If I need grip and stability around the handle side I can flip it to the other side with this variation of the flex head titan 1/4, luckily they have the same depth. feels close to perfect, not sure if a more versatile EDC configuration is out there but the
Titan Nano driver is pretty solid as a base.

This has to be a troll post, right? I’m so lost.

3d print some knobs? Make some wood ones? Machine some if you have access to the right tools?

Get a proper ratcheting screwdriver.

Why are we using 7 extensions and a ratchet,to recreate a ratcheting screwdriver?
