🔧Technical Issue Buffering issues

I've been using Torbox for a 2-3 months now as a replacement for Real-Debrid.
I've never had any issues till yesterday - it's constantly buffering every few minutes no matter what I watch. I mainly use it in Kodi with the POV addon, have it paired with Stremio as well. Wired connection but it is buffering all the time since yesterday.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Whenever I can, I try to bring usenet into the spotlight. It's a great alternative. And to be honest, more reliable and consistent than when I had debrid.

I've been a HUGE user of Usenet with the ARR apps (Sonarr, radarr etc.) and only stopped when I discovered Stremio and now Nuvio. Can you explain to me is it as simple as re activating my newgroup provider and putting it's API into Nuvio? Thanks.

I'll shoot you a message, so we're not going back-and-forth in this.

Yesterday I finally got the nerve to self host. So built aiostreams, nzbdav, nzbhydra2, and mediaflow proxy. I got a vps and a really cheap domain and got help from AI. I'm just using for streaming to nuvio cause as hard drive space for downloading would need a lot of space especially for 4k. Indexers go into nzbhydra, providers go into nzbdav. I'm getting both debrid and Usenet is getting files from every indexer as I have 3. Newshosting has labor day deal that comes with 2 other providers. I do have another block account as backup and hasn't been used. I'm not saying this is the only way but is working great for me and I'm a slow non tech savvy country boy 😂 but after some frustration and getting mad at myself I got it working better than what I was paying elfhosted. Maybe a better way to do it but it works for me. I didn't wanna keep my laptop running so I went with a vps from Virtarix and the cheapest domain from porkbun. The vps I got is cheap and not even using 20% of it. So still room for a lot more containers. I could add radarr and sonarr but just using right now for playing files. The MediaFlow Proxy I think makes it look like one IP. I used my pixel 10 with terminal called Haven as the vps one wouldn't let me copy and paste.

We don’t want usenet in the spotlight do we?

I am sorry guys but it really seems that Torbox is not reliable at least for now. I have set up Premiumize and it is so much faster and there is no buffer at all. Tried it on Kodi and Stremio, TV and PC.

I can't watch anything through Torbox in 4K. I have to step down to 1080p to have any chance of it not buffering. Shame. They had a real opportunity to be a real debrid replacement. They are blowing it big time. I'm not going to re up based on their shitty performance.

Same, I've been using Premiumize for a few days bow and it's flawless. Watched "Michael" the other day 80gb Remux without a single buffering issue. Yeah it's a bit more expensive but it's worth it.

Try to change your VPN to Cloudflare or Bunny CDN.

Yeah having the same issues for the past few weeks... The connection simply drops mid stream and re-establishes itselft after a few seconds, then rebuffers. Not an issue with my line. I'm going Premiumize for a month to see how that's behaving...

Torbox is fine. The common denominator is Stremio. I use both Kodi and Stremio as a backup. No issues with Kodi. The buffering is when I use Stremio.

And Nuvio. So the common denominator is TB. People aren't making this up you know...

Nuvio, the Stremio clone?

No, the superior Stremio... You should try it. I used to use Stremio until I found Nuvio.

Clone 😂 as it has 100 things Stremio doesn’t, and completely free too
