Ghost peers and tracker errors

Okay, so. I recently switched to a different VPN, that's all fine (or not, but that's not what this is about). There are a couple seemingly related issues.

I am now constantly getting tracker warnings about seeding/downloading from more than three locations. I have noticed that this, and port not being seen as open by the client and tracker, seems to happen mostly when ipv6 is enabled. However, when using exclusively ipv4, there is little to no traffic whatsoever. I've never had this happen before.

So my queries are these: Is there something I'm missing that's making this happen so frequently? I'm server hopping as little as possible due to this, but I don't actually need to change my ip or open port for this to occur.

Secondly, is it actually normal to be flushing ghost peers daily or more and I just never had to before for whatever reason? How often is normal?

Most trackers clear ghost peers within an hour. 

I'm not aware of any of the major VPNs offering IP6, so it shouldn't be an issue to leave it disabled. 

But since you don't want to mention the VPN, it's just guess work 😂

It isn’t normal to have to flush ghost peers daily.

I’ve been torrenting for years and I dont even know what a ghost peer is.

I just connect vpn and torrent. I’ll have to look into this spooky ghost torrent
