Honestly did not know what to make the bg..

Hello regulars! I want to start this out by saying thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the participation done in this contest so far. We had 137 voters participate from all over the world and cast 914 votes! You guys are the best! But speaking of you guys being awesome, I've got to shout out u/RailTracer001 for the suggestions that I forgot and weren't suggested on Preliminary Round. There were also other bonus submissions from u/satmakur , u/nori4life123 , u/SkyIsGolden3 , u/Curious-Plane6868 , and u/Benie177 !

So that being said, I will be doing Round 1.5 as an amendment to add in some of these ships. But in order to keep forward movement in the contest, I decided to eliminate all the Ship Candidates that only got 0-2 votes. I added a screenshot of those eliminated to the pics on the post. I think it's a fair compromise. I also removed the round with "top 15", so we will go from top 20 in Round 2 to top 10 in round 3. This will be the last modification to the existing structure of the contest, though. I will not be taking any more ship submissions from here on out... I don't want to make this contest too drawn out. Also, to make it even more fun, I'll up the vote options to 15 selections! This round, we will be reducing to top 20 ships, so use your votes wisely!

Will there be a season 2 of the spin off?? I just finished chapter 70 on webtoons and it’s labeled as the series finale, but the end of the chapter doesn’t feel like a real ending and it even says “the well and moon arc is complete.” Kinda making it seem like there would be another arc??

Loved this scene so much one of the best interactions between them , bam was Burdened by the shocking information he heard about his parents and how they suffered and then there's gustang who made him More lost because what he said about V many questions and feelings weighed him down and here's comes best girl with few words with big impact she didn't trie to bother him to know the details and said whatever he heard had to stay strong and hang in there she let him know she believes in him and that she's there for him whenever he's ready to empties his heart ❤️ and that made him smile with big relief like most of that burden went away 🤧 that's why i love every moment with them it's just beautiful and heartwarming 🥺😍

I think Rachel should, not just as a rachel fan but her just being the weak schemer has dried up any interest for me,of course i dont want her to just be a plain shonen character but god i just want her to have something.

I thought this was a cool detail. It's from s1, e29, when Baam makes a contract with the Floor w Administrator.

He arrived when Garam just started climbing the tower, way before Garam killed Yuram, Garam fought Adori, and Enne Zahard incident.

Why would Bam need the Thorn in order to Ignite the Blue Thryssa? As far as I understand it, the other Living Ignition Weapons do not need an extra thing like that to Ignite their Devils. Granted. I am assuming Bam did need it to Ignite it, which could be wrong. And he did that lobster thing without it.

I was trying to speculate, and could only come to the conclusion that part of the experiment on them was in shaping how it Ignites. If you look at Horyang and Cassanos arms, they seem designed for it. However Beta does not.

I don’t know. I’m not swayed anyway particularly.

EDIT: Yes. Yes. I understand that you’d need the Blue Thryssa to activate the Thorn because it was dead. What I don’t understand is why he can’t Ignite the Blue Thryssa without the Thorn. Like every other Living Ignition Weapon can.

Guys I am thinking 🤔 about king contract. we know king contract is different from family head contract . What if king contract allow zahard to exert exis level strength in the tower.

What do you think guys is it possible?

I'm interacting with this sub after I started reading ToG once again (3rd or 4th time by now)

and there is a question I have about slayers

From what I understand and remember, Slayers are basically persons that have for sole objectives to kill the 10 families + Zahard, but we also know that if you aren't an irregular such a thing is basically impossible

So my question is : Why was Baam considered a mere weapon to use by Karaka and the elder he follows ? As far as I'm aware, there isn't any other irregular in FUG, making Baam a unique piece as only him is able to kill the family head for sure since the rules don't apply to him

Shouldn't basically every single person in FUG search to make him as powerful as possible for their wish to come true ? Risking his death with the whole Thorn melting thing should have been considered some kind of absolute crime / betrayal (Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure pouring some "super" lava on top of the Thorn AND Baam to melt them together into a singular piece isn't a very healthy solution)

I’ve been thinking a lot after reading the Urek Mazino spin-off, and I think it finally gives us the clearest picture yet of what Baam actually is.

The Spin-off :

In the beginning there was absolute darkness. Then light appeared, and with it came life, motion, and everything else. Six beings rose as leaders of that life and called themselves the Shining Ones. Chaos followed. Darkness responded by giving birth to an Axis named Phantaminum, whose original purpose was to subdue the Shining Ones and return everything to darkness. Instead of completing that task, Phantaminum sealed them into jewels, embedded those jewels in his own body, and turned the Fallen Shining Ones into his servants. Chaos continued.

Later, a new Axis was born: Urek Mazino.

When Urek confronts Obrion inside tower (one of the Fallen Shining Ones) and asks what they hoped to gain by seeking Mago's power inside the castle, Obrion reveals they are carrying Phantaminum’s will. He then says something extremely important:

The Tower has its own The Tower has its own power. Countless creatures. Tests that strengthen those who enter it. And he reaches a conclusion: this Tower was built for a new Axis, because the world needs someone like Urek and Phantaminum.

How This Connects to the Main Story By the time Urek and Phantaminum enter the Tower, chaos is already in full swing:

• Zahard has become king ---- Great War V and Arlene Lost became fugitive.
• People are sealed inside the Tower (the Red Garbage Dump)
• Family Heads like Eurasia Blossom wipe out entire family branches
• Traumerei turns the dead into zombies
• Zahard kills the newborn Baam in front of Arlene
• V commits suicide
• Arlene leaves the Tower and offers her son’s body to “God”
• Enryu enters and massacres the Administrator of the 43rd Floor
• Zahard seals “Anne Zahard”
• Phantaminum invades Zahard’s castle
• Urek follows him in

Many years later, Baam enters the Tower chasing Rachel. She betrays him. When Baam confronts her, she drops one of the most revealing lines in the series:
“Baam is a monster who is meant to devour this Tower, not save it.”

The Theory Baam is the new Axis that the Tower was built for.

Phantaminum represents Darkness (the original corrective force that went off-script).
Urek represents the Light subsequent Axis born in response to that failure.
Neither of them resolved the chaos. The world (or whatever force sits above the Axes) therefore prepared the Tower as a massive testing ground and incubation chamber for a third solution. Baam is that solution. He is neither pure Light nor pure Darkness. He is the Void — the force that will eventually confront both. His entire existence (the “death,” the offering to God, the irregular status, the absurd growth, the way higher beings react to him, the powers that keep attaching themselves to him) points to him being the structural answer the cosmology has been waiting for.

Rachel’s “devour the Tower” line isn’t just her being cruel. It may be the most honest statement anyone has made about Baam’s true nature.

Dejah watches Yuri and cheers her on to kill hell joa subordinates and says she's so cool 😂 ( she is ) and he's own subordinate telling him to recover he's dignity because bro acting childish although he's thousands of years old 😭😂 floor of death is the most arc with planety of comedic scene

So, I stopped reading the book when they were getting on the train where Bam reunited with Rachel, but something that bothered me at the time...It was that Bam could do practically everything on his own; I felt like the secondary characters had no role, as if they had lost their significance.For example, the alligator (I forgot the name).He was physically strong, Bam was good and talented at saison, and Khun was intelligent and good at strategy. I wanted to know if they'll have an active role in the story again, and not just be secondary characters who are only there for Bam to save them at the last minute.

Spin off confirms that the most difficult thing to achieve in the tower is meeting the king. Phantaminum raided the palace, slaughter the best Rankers of Jahad, and confronted the king. It seems the original reason about his way of using unknown powers and weapons is retconned. It's given purely because he managed to achieve this feat of meeting the king.

In Seoul for the first time where can I find nice ToG merch/stuff related to the universe? Preferably in English
