For TransAm to have foreign makes, foreign makes need to produce cars that can qualify class wise.

I never was crazy about the Jag (though a Jag in the 80's would have been super cool--I thought I remembered Group 44 having one). I don't recall seeing the Mangusta, but I certainly remember it being there. That is a very cool car. The Audi was my favorite ever race car. Sleek, but a sedan (which used to be what the series was all about).

I grew up with the series when, at least to the untrained eye, it was a lot like GTO/GTU. I do miss those cars greatly, but I kind of understand Trans Am latching onto the neo-muscle car fad. But for me, as much as I like the TA2's, and especially the TAs, it's all very limited. I'd love for one of the current body builders to give the TA/TA2 treatment to an Audi A6. That would be retro for me.

Trans Am has some great cars, but needs to reorganize itself.
