Let me know what routes and destinations I should prioritize next — especially hidden gems or unexpected favorites. I’m based in Chicago. And yes, Alaska and Hawaii are on the list but I wouldn’t be driving to either of those.

Well, I've missed out on two giant sections in the U.S. What can you figure out? Two things come to mind that could be gleaned:

I'll have some time to travel next winter. Also thinking about turkey/egypt but perhaps there's sth. in europe that you can recommend?

I don't like to 'check' the countries, so wherever i go, i try to see multiple cities, meet locals, eat local food and understand their culture, but it is really difficult to both work, save and travel at the same time.

My aim is to see least visited, difficult destinations before doing the classical Rome trip. So you would see a few 'interesting ones' but not the most touristic ones.

North and South America, Australia and Oceania is still untouched to me.

I am currently in South Korea for a few months and planning on visiting Japan, Taiwan, some SEA countries and New Zealand after.

I live in Switzerland and I am planning on travelling around places that are a bit more unknown in countries that I haven‘t been before or countries that are less popular to travel too, but still pretty safe for tourists and stunning, focussing more on nature or beaches, in the future. It can range from the landscapes of Ireland, to the deserts of Jordan or the beaches in Ad-Dakhla.

As I hopefully still have time to travel a lot, I also want to travel with friends, we like to go on weekend trips together somewhere in Europe. We are looking for cities, that have surprisingly good nightlife, not a very popular tourist destination and that has good flight connections from Switzerland (preferably Zurich).

Its quite easy to see where I rented a car and where I´ve travelled by public transport

I've only been outside of Europe to Tangier recently and Egypt about 9 years ago. Can you recommend travel destinations that offer good value for money? I'm going to Oslo in October and I'm planning to go to Belgium and Madrid in the near future. I'm also thinking about the British Isles and Athens.
