/r/TucsonList is looking for moderators

We avoid allowing classified ads for items and services on r/Tucson. We also do not allow lost and found as, for most people, its spam or not relevant.

However, r/TucsonList is a place for classified ads! Including but not limited to: selling items, looking for roommates, job postings, etc etc.

That said, it could use a moderator or two. Avoid turning it into something illegal or unsavory and allow it to continue to be a place we can refer people for the types of things we do now and after that, it'll be up to you how to format, grow, and moderate it.

If you're interested, please send a moderator mail to us here.

Please include in your modmail:

  • if you have any relevant experience either as a mod or running anything similar

  • about why you're interested in being a moderator of r/TucsonList specifically

  • what goals you might have for the sub or changes you'd like to make

Posting for a friend — please share with anyone who might be interested!

UPDATE: Starting bid just lowered substantially- now approximately $98k. The seller-financed purchase went into default, and at this point the lender/seller would really just like to see the property sold and move on from the situation.

4-acre off-grid homestead near Cochise Stronghold going to trustee sale on September 15, 2026. Listing will go live on MK Consultants website on Sept 11, 2026: https://mkconsultantsinc.com/trustees-sales

Property: 2794 N Evelyn Ln, Cochise, AZ 85606
Sale Date: September 15, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM
Sale Location: 100 Colonia de Salud, Sierra Vista, AZ
Expected opening/credit bid: $97,842.63

The sale is expected to be posted by MK Consultants on Friday September 11, the Friday preceding the auction.

The 4-acre property was developed as an off-grid homestead and historically included:
• Approx. 800 sq. ft. 1BR/1BA main house
• Private well
• Off-grid solar systems (1 kW and 4 kW systems)
• 16x24 art studio
• Greenhouse and fenced garden area
• Barns and shipping containers
• Chicken coop/run, fencing and other homestead infrastructure
• 8'x24' tiny house on wheels

The attached photos show the property primarily in 2022–2023 and are provided for historical reference only. They do not represent its current condition.

The property will require repairs. Reported current issues include:
• Solar system reportedly not operational; battery banks have died and will need to be replaced
• Well/pump system reportedly not functional after alterations made to electric connections
• Roof leaks reported in the main house
• Termite issues reported in barn structures
• Two cracked windows reported — one in the main house and one in the studio
• Note clearly: this property will need repairs before it is up and running.

IMPORTANT: This is a trustee sale, not a conventional real estate listing. **Prospective bidders are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and independently verifying the property's current condition, title, parcel information, auction terms, payment requirements, and all other information.**

Any retired horticulturist want to pick up some extra cash rejuvenating some Oleander?

I just got quoted almost $500 to rejuvenate a 4 foot section of oleander and now I'm looking for somebody more reasonable. The oleanders are 60 years old and very tall and just need some rejuvenation and some deadwood taken out. I thought maybe a retired horticulturist or arborist might be interested in a little job. I'm absolutely not looking for somebody to take a hedge trimmer to it.

Tucson Run, Triathlon & Fitness Coaching: Personalized Coaching for Real People

Training for your first 5K? Getting ready for a half marathon, marathon, or triathlon? Or simply ready to get stronger, fitter, and more confident?

I’m a Tucson-based fitness and endurance coach with training through ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association), and I offer personalized coaching through SeleraFit.com.

My approach is simple: your training should fit your life, not the other way around.

I work with clients who want more than a generic training plan. Depending on your goals, I can help with:

- Running & race preparation
- Triathlon training
- Swim/bike/run programming
- Strength & conditioning
- Building fitness safely and progressively
- Personalized weekly training plans
- Remote coaching, accountability & ongoing support
- In-person training sessions
- Goal-setting and staying consistent when life gets busy

What makes my coaching different is the personal side of it. I take the time to understand where you are now, where you want to go, and what realistically fits into your schedule. Your training can then be adjusted as you progress rather than leaving you trying to force yourself through a one-size-fits-all program.

Whether you're chasing a PR, preparing for your first event, returning to fitness, or simply want someone knowledgeable in your corner, I'd love to hear what you're working toward.

Ghibli is still missing, last sighting of him is still last Sunday around 1:40am

Please help me bring him home. He is my ESA, and I am not doing well without him. I am worried about him, he is not adapted for this heat. He was last seen near E 4th St. & N Irving Cir. Please check your cameras if you are within mile of that, I am not convinced he is in the immediate neighborhood anymore, no sightings from neighbors or neighbor cameras.

He may be skittish about people he does not know, and is not food motivated under normal circumstances. His kitty siblings are really worried, as am I nd the rest of his family. I am offering a reward for anything that leads to his safe return home. He weighs about 17lbs, and has siamese coloring without the siamese body type.

Looking for roommate in January

Hello! I’m a 34f who will be moving in January. I’ve been living alone for awhile in a place that is a bit of a steal, but my landlord’s child is coming back to town and will be taking over my unit at the end of my lease. It seems like the rental market for decent 1bdrs has become more expensive since the last time I was looking, and well, the job market’s not looking so hot either! So I’m considering a roommate as an option.

Regarding me: I’m employed full time and work from home during the day. I have a medium sized dog about 35-40 lbs, she is 5 years old and well behaved, with a great temperament, and gets along great with humans and other dogs but not so much cats, unfortunately. I have a good amount of furniture that would be used in the communal spaces, so we can mesh everything together to build a cozy home! I’m pretty quiet and conscientious, I tend to keep to myself as a roommate, but also down to be friends and hang out if the platonic chemistry is right!! Inside the home I like reading, tv shows and movies, listening to music, cooking and baking, and crafts. I love video games too but don’t have a console. I like to have friends over but I don’t host large groups usually just 1-3 guests at a time. Outside hobbies are gym, hiking, live music, beer/coffee/food. All the usual stuff basically.

In a roommate, I’m looking for someone who has a reliable source of income, is fairly tidy, respects my belongings, communicates well regarding any issues inside the home, and will be kind to my dog! Prefer someone over 25 years old, but no gender specifications. I’m LGBTQ fan and 420 friendly, but no harder substances. Open to having another dog around as well!

I’d be looking for a 2bdr, or even 3bdr as an office space for me (I’d pay extra for that) if we can swing it. Ideally a single family home or duplex/triplex kind of situation, rather than an apartment style. In the range of about $1500 a month, more or less.

I know it’s early to be looking, and I’ll post again closer to move out date, but if someone is planning to move around then it would be awesome to get some extra time to get to know each other before we commit to it. Message me here if any interest!!

Help Moving Tread Climber

I’m seeking help moving a piece of gym equipment from Oro Valley to central Tucson. I’d need assistance from someone with a pickup truck and furniture dolly so it doesn’t have to be disassembled. (We have double doors to get it in the home and it is stored in a garage.) Does anyone have any recommendation for a moving service that takes such a small scale project? Or anybody looking for a side hustle? Thank you!

Lost cat, last seen near E 4th St. & N Irving Cir.

My cat Ghibli is missing. He has been gone somewhere between 2 and 4 days, hard to really say as he can be independent and reclusive. He is chipped, I last saw him at my place of residence near E 4th St. & N Irving Cir.

He was caught on a neighbor's ring camera a couple nights ago, but that's the only trail I've been able to pick up from him. Please, if someone brought him in from the heat, thank you, and please contact me so I can get him back. He is my mental/emotional support pet, and I am panicking not knowing where he is or if he's safe. If you even think you spot him, please let me know and share where you saw him. I just need to bring him back home. Me, my family, and his kitty siblings all really miss him and are worried about him.

He is not an outdoor cat, he has been a strictly indoor cat his entire life, and I am seriously concerned about him. We also recently moved to Tucson, and he is not adapted to be out in this heat.

He is friendly and sweet, but likely to be cautious of anyone he doesn't know, and is likely scared of cars and loud noises. He is not incredibly food motivated in general, but may be more so now, if he's hungry. He has siamese coloring, but a bigger build than most siamese cats have. Clear blue eyes.

Please help me bring me kitty son home, I haven't been able to sleep, I am worried sick about him, I just want him home, safe and okay.
