3000 Level Creative Writing Class

I’m a freshman English major looking to add one more class to my schedule this semester that’s either an English related elective or another kind of elective that would be beneficial. Is the creative writing class a bad idea to take as someone who’s only English college level experience is AP classes? Are there any other elective courses that won’t require too much extra time/effort I should take instead?

You should take it. It’s designed to help with writing overall.

I remember taking this class many, many years ago, it was wonderful. Our professor was an adjunct and had written one great little book. One of my classmates went on to win a Pulitzer — may you have as great an experience!
