Just an unbranded one from AliExpress but aluminium shell, 4:3 aspect ratio and 5ms response time so I really like it for PC Engine. I power it with a portable USB power bank and it doesn't seem to need much power to run either, which is a bonus

One power bank for the pc engine and one separately for the display? What plugs into the pc engine, or does your power bank support wall plugs / prongs? How do you make sure the brick doesn't undersupply or oversupply power?

I ordered an adapter cable from Japan that plugs into the PC Engine on one end and I plug 9V USB C in the other.
If I try to run the PC Engine and the screen from the same 9V / 45W power bank it doesn't work, so I have to use a 5V / 22.5W power bank to power the screen

Thanks! Is that Japan-ordered adaptor two cords (one for back of pc engine, and one 9v usbc), or is it a single cord one end straight to the console and the other end is stock usbc? I wonder if the same adaptor would work on TG-16 units.

There is one very short cable that plugs into the PC Engine on one end and has female USB-C on other, and I just plug in a standard USB-C to USB-C into that and then into the power bank.
Sorry the picture isn't especially clear but you can see the female end of the short cable on the left because it's got a blue light which indicates it has power
