Rakhi outfit controversy got more footage than this can you imagine

39

u/Gobi_manchurian_ kohl and curves’ reincarnation 11h ago edited 10h ago

This too!Ā

There’s no such rule in Hinduism that women should wear ghoonghat or cover themselves from head to toeĀ

Yet these people are suddenly worried when kriti wore a blouse that they thought was indecentĀ

What bothers me more is that no one cares this much about a man’s clothes, it’s 2026 and yet in India women are expected to dress modestlyĀ

11

u/Fit_Fly_5140 22 10h ago

how ironical is it that after this incident govt added more stricter laws to prevent women from these cases but now the r@pe and cases has became normalised and common in india.

Their got to be some way to make these buses put under strict surveillance. And make sure this don't happen again.

1

u/Brilliant-Gear8461 24 1h ago

At what extent you can surveil you cannot do it in house, in neigbour, in forest

-4

u/Polite-Speaker-420 25 10h ago

Same way you shouted more at that standup crowd guy than you raised voice for Atul Subhash

3

u/Empty-Hotel-9127 3h ago

Not everything has to be a whataboutery competition

-10

u/Aroused-Cubby 26 10h ago

If the girl is not a hypocrite then she will wear the same for every festival and you need to support her no matter what happens !!

11

u/Altruistic_Virus8460 23 9h ago

We do. Women of all communities and places should wear whatever they want

-10

u/Aroused-Cubby 26 9h ago

There's a reason why you said 'should' Shut your mouth until you see an ad for Eid with the same outfit

8

u/Altruistic_Virus8460 23 9h ago

I don't get it? If you're mad at the hypocrisy, advocate for Eid ads to also feature women wearing a diversity of clothes. Why cancel the Rakhi ad instead? Instead of questioning others for their misogyny, you are imposing misogyny on women of other communities too to compensate. Totally backwards logic

-8

u/Aroused-Cubby 26 9h ago

Yes show me the example with the same kind of crop top why are you going on different tangents ??

4

u/Altruistic_Virus8460 23 9h ago

I'm not going on tangents. I'm agreeing with you, that yes, certain communities and festivals still don't have representation of women wearing whatever they want, free of cultural and religious restrictions. But the solution to that is questioning why this doesn't happen, rather than cancelling a Rakhi ad for showing a woman wear whatever she wants. The goal should be liberation for women who are still oppressed, rather than oppression of relatively liberated women for the sake of leveling the field. The competition should be who is less misogynistic, not who is more. That's why cancelling the Giva ad doesn't make sense.

If it had been a conservatively dressed girl for Eid that got cancelled, at least it would have made sense. For the Giva ad? It simply does not, unless the actual intention is to prevent Hindu women to also have the freedom to dress how they want.

0

u/Aroused-Cubby 26 9h ago

The same you will be mad about a man not abiding by the very choices you have for his attire as well !!

Conservatively dressed and getting cancelled ?? Why will it get cancelled ?? And why will it make sense ?? Are you not aware of the treatment virgin girls are given in Iran before execution

Or are you among those who normalise both šŸ‡ and culture altogether just to appease your ideological leaders ??

Don't talk about freedom here !! You are free to dress like that even in an UPSC interview, will you ?? Aur will you throw the over used argument of every place has its own attire

0

u/Altruistic_Virus8460 23 7h ago

If you're advocating for control over what women do with their bodies then I got nothing for you. The men in normal people's houses don't sexualize their own sisters so they never worry about what to wear on any occasion šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

What baffles me more is that how much r@pe has become normalised that people just have a "that's sad" reaction and move on. In 2012, the entire nation was outraging coz it was a horror to know something like that had happened.

4

Guess PM wasn't culturally shocked enough by that incident to comment on it to raise awareness smh.

6

u/fatty_dude 9h ago edited 8h ago

Because people here doesn't use brain, and are mostly emotional fools.

Now if this news gets popular, everyone starts speaking, point here is not just this, everyday there are rapes happening and s abuse on children too are happening, people will talk about whataboutery instead of implementing the punishments to the wrong doer.

Even central home minister for state bandi sanjay son s abused a minor and that dude is taking bail and roaming outside happily.

This government doesn't bring in laws, stricter punishments and most importantly whoever committed crime, they need to be punished. Whoever it is, but the law and order in this country favour powerful people. So, people respond or react to cases that attain popularity, and then some use the pain like ratna debnath and attain positions. She shouldn't have joined any political party, instead she should have fought for it. Now, she can't blame bjp for not doing any work towards punishing those criminals.

Ps: I am not supporting any political party here, political parties use people as ploys in their political game.

1

u/Thin_Environment_784 2h ago

The actual problem is these people have strong connections between them so even if the bus driver and others gets arrested. They walk out easily. That connection needs to get disconnected permanently so they can't use any influence. Ever again.

4

u/Icy_Connection1111 8h ago

The Save the Dogs "movement" attracted more attention among women and society than rape cases. They were on the road fighting for dogs instead if fighting for survivors. So everyone is a hypocrite?

6

u/tesfaye_epub 6h ago

I can't comprehend how r@pe is getting normalised in this country. If you read newspapers/ go through news daily you'll know that this is a daily occurance. And in numerous remote areas/village cases are not even registered due to various reasons. I think fast-track courts should be set up and harshest punishment should be given to discourage the growing number of similar crimes.

India me aisa hi hota hai

india chunautiyi se nahi ch#tiyo se pareshaan hai , and not only this , i have explained some guys in my locality to not throw garbage on the walking area , they say "you don't own it" , mind it they are servants of big bungalows , totally pissed because of these people

2

u/AdorableLocksmith157 9h ago

Yes also we were the same country where upper clothes not wearing was normal 😭 blouses were become common that time of British rule how much we changed today parents don't know india history of clothing

1

u/Thin_Environment_784 2h ago

The problem is let's say they pass a strong law many of the minister's will purposely add a Loop hole in it and pass it so they can easily by pass it.

-4

He should take personal accountability and instead of being on a world tour should come back immediately and resign. That should solve all current and future problems. Oh wait, need to burn that book which Hindus read to enforce patriarchy as well.

Just people like you are not outraged, i am outraged on both

2

u/kabbajabbadabba 5h ago

you could also say people who supported the teenage girls in lakhs with reels are absent now. I saw 100s of people. almost everyone on my socials posting her, not even 10% did it for the above victim. Hypocrisy much?

5

u/Golf_Calm 10h ago

The reason there was outrage was because she was present in an event that was already quite publised and she got media attention. The other case is a crime that was not recorded on camera.

1

u/ZRKP 14m ago

Common sense is not so common here. Anything related to celebrity will obv going to gain more attraction.

I have seen more post of comparing this case to Ruchika outrage , then the actual post about this r@pe case.

8

u/Shre_759 26 10h ago

Who is making her an highlight? I have seen her in most Left oriented pages promoting the girls videos who is just making it to get popular after apologising. Even you caught her videos on a left wing page for sure. I'm literally with no one at this side, but badly wish the 16 year old kid gets her justice through fast track courts.

Also someone should take up awareness on boarding unknown vehicles or buses without signage or people especially during night. There should be safe and emergency travel options to girls at night just like police helpline is present.

-5

u/Maximum_Push_7558 9h ago

ā€œMaking it to get popularā€

Bhajpilla opinion on both issues be like

It’s her fault, but things should be better I agree. It will get better if we kick bhajpillas god from govt.

4

u/Shre_759 26 9h ago

Yeah, you are sooo brainwashed just like the first girl to see the actual issues. Everytime something happens you choose to abuse over solutions. Did Modiji ask her to Abuse to they could make her popular? So you defend the girl, but not raise actual issues which caused the second issues. You can't even make your mind that a 16 year old is termed brave to abuse a PM who is of her grandfather's age in front of Millions, but another 16 year old judged wrong by boarding a very suspicious vehicle with no passengers at night. You just retweet a post stating some own meme worthy original quotes of RaGa, you will be arrested within 2 days even if you are 400 kms away from the police station in Karnataka. That's the state of democracy here, whereas a girl who abused a PM in obscene language gets to make more and more videos freely. I sincerely wished that the victim in the second case gets the justice early and proposed few solutions.

No point in arguing with such absolute brainwashed Gen-Ztards who just care of social media backed campaigns and forget the actual case.

Also go check who is celebrating the first girl and come back here.

Hi Shre_759,

I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, and I want you to know that you're not alone. You are worthy, you are loved and you will always be able to find assistance. Remember, you are not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help. Reach out to them and let them support you during this difficult time.

Life has its ups and down. Sometimes it makes us happy while at other times, it disappoints us. But none of those are permanent. Problems are just like the hovering cloud trying to hide the sun, but they can't keep it hidden for a long time. You are the sun op and you are meant to shine brighter. Just have the courage and believe in yourself that you can win over this battle.

It might be overwhelming at times but it is important to stay calm and composed at those times to tackle with the odds you are going through. Taking impulsive decision when you're at your lowest is definitely not a good idea.

The difficulties you're facing now is to make you stronger; they are not the roadblocks. Let them not define you. Remember, you are valued, and your life has meaning. You have the strength within you to overcome this difficult time. We believe in you.

25 year old woman.

Don't mix the two stories.
They're not comparable in any way. Keep your outrage economics away from real victims.
Have some shame.

9

u/Undead0707 18 11h ago

Doesn't change shit.

Being more upset over a women critising a man in power than a teenager getting raped is not valid.

And what exactly doesn't make sense? That the women is worried about how dozens of people are abusing her and sending threats because she lashed out against one man for his ignorance?

-9

u/wwwrites In my 20s but a Toddler by heart 10h ago

Yes it's shit!
Don't mix the two stories.
They're not comparable in any way. Keep your outrage economics away from real victims.
Have some shame.

2

u/Undead0707 18 9h ago

No one's mixing the stories. The post just talks about how one person is getting a lot of hate while someone else who literally committed a crime is not getting the same amount of hate.

Sis you literally saw a post that points out that people are more angry towards a girl for saying smth bad over a guy SAing a girl and your first reaction to that was to correct the age of the girl in the first scenario. If anyone here lacks shame, it's you.

Any sane person would agree that an assaulter should be scrutinized more as compared to a women who went a lil overboard with her words, but you're someone who calls themselves an "AI artist" so i wouldn't expect you to be one of them

1

u/wwwrites In my 20s but a Toddler by heart 9h ago

Yes you are mixing the two and that's why they are mentioned in the same line on the same post - making a mockery of the real victim. Shame!

No one is really interested in discussing the 25 year old over victim of SA. The only people who are interested in raking her issue everywhere is you, OP and few others in the comments.

People are discussing her story with empathy she deserves and the issues that need to be solved. The police have already apprehended the two people she identified. Human rights commission has already got involved.

2

u/hurricane_news 11h ago

Correction : she wasn't 25, she was 15 unlike what the hoaxes said

That still is no justification for incels and chigmas to HURL death and ra*e threats at her. Please stop defending those clowns

Asking a question doesn't amount to defending someone. 25 years, as per the FIR & official records; not going to believe propaganda masters over police.

No proof was ever provided for alleged threats & the cybercrime cell has always been available for such complaints.

3

u/hurricane_news 9h ago

No proof was ever provided for alleged threats

Perhaps try opening your eyes in social media a couple times from the various posts and comment sections hurling horrific words at her and you'll see plenty of examples.

Her and her family had to temporarily leave their home on several instances (after their home location was doxxed by news media) , on top of receiving threats of acid attacks, and ra*e and murder threats

This is like saying "welllll, casteism doesn't really happen in India, you should give prooooof of that!"

25 years, as per the FIR & official records; not going to believe propaganda masters over police.

The FIR that was WITHDRAWN by the complainant who filed it BECAUSE it utilized wrong details and because supreme leader went on stage to "forgive" the child?

The only initial source of her age being claimed as 25 was from a Twitter account called "The Jaipur Dialogues" and a known social media instigator (on top of not providing proof by the way), presumably on which the FIR was brought to attention and filed with after the fact.

Asking a question doesn't amount to defending someone.

Framing whatever you said as "asking a question" after all the threats she received isnt the escape tactic you think it is. You and I both know it was a loaded question

At the end of the day, no one criticizing or insulting a political leader should undergo all this. Doesn't matter WHO the political leader is, before you assume I prefer some leaders over the other

2

u/wwwrites In my 20s but a Toddler by heart 8h ago

People always go into hiding after saying or doing things to escape scrutiny & criticism. A 25 year old woman cannot hide from scrutiny after using vile, derogatory language. Accountability doesn't disappear just because you do šŸ˜‚. She again posted another video a couple of days back proving her defenders ....

Despite the cockroach legal team supporting protestors, no proof was ever provided or complaint registered over the alleged threats by her.

The FIR was closed by the Police because of the Centre's stance against pursuing FIRs against protestors not involved in violence. It's well documented & the Police have also petitioned the SC for withdrawal of the other cases.

I asked a simple question, but you turned it into an essay writing competition. Hatred has a way of boomeranging back on you, whether it's for a regular citizen or the PM of your own country. Can't escape that!

Please read any social media post demonizing her and have a look at the comments. Case closed

A 25 year old woman cannot hide from scrutiny after using vile, derogatory language.

Scrutiny and "accountability" != sending vile ra*e and death threats. False equivalency fallacy at its peak. Again, the only source of her supposedly being 25 was from a known social media chud

Source: Telegraph India's article on Ruchika Singh

"Complaint against Ruchika Singh for PM abuse withdrawn after apology and Modi remarks"

I'd list the link but this sub removes comments with links

"After the prime minister appealed for forgiveness, the girls, including the Noida girl, uploaded apology videos. I had also posted a video saying that if the girls apologised, I would withdraw my complaint," Singh said.

She said the remaining girls also apologised subsequently and that she has withdrawn her complaints in all eight cases.

"Since the prime minister forgave them, I also do not want to pursue the matter further. I have communicated my decision to Delhi Police and Crime Branch," Singh told PTI.

The Singh in question is the law official who put forth the FIR

The family's lawyer, Anil Kumar, told PTI Videos that the girl was a juvenile and claimed the complaint wrongly described her as a 25-year-old woman working in a salon.

"The FIR had been registered without a proper preliminary verification and had that been done, the FIR would not have been registered at all," he said.

I asked a simple question, but you turned it into an essay writing competition

Not my fault you can't read more than 5 lines

Because these are not the same people. Most average people don't raise their voice or are just too stunned to do so when something as horrific like this happens.

they don't care about controversy around teenage girl using bad language, all that is poltics from both side, so even talking about both incident in same sentence is just so so wrong.

One where the paid people are outraging for no reason and other where a real person fell victim to such an horrible crime.

Your quantification of outrage is only limited to the social media you follow or what your algorithm shows, and algorithms lie. Stop connecting the dots which shouldn't be connected just because it gives you a feeling of being a good person.
