Question Create account with broken camera?

Hello, my camera broke a while back which doesn‘t really bother me because I never used the phone to take pictures anyway, the camera is way too shitty.

But now I run into to trouble when trying to create a Twitter account. I can put in my mail just fine but then it wants to verify I‘m not a bot and opens the camera at which point I‘m stuck. Would be fine if I could just use a picture from the gallery but it seems like it has to be A live image.

Is there any way to create an account without having to do the live camera thing?

Mine is a new account. I don’t remember the system asking for a live picture. I set up 2FA with passkey/Face ID, cell ph, and email.

Then I used my latest selfie from photos on my iPhone to set up my X profile and bio.

Try setting up 2FA right off the bat. See if that helps get the ball rolling.
