Is it just me or is being a transfer at uga so difficult. I came from out of state so i literally dont know anyone here, and i feel like nobody will talk to me.

I joined a few clubs here and there but people still have their people they know whether is be from sorority or whatever else. Im trying my best but i still have yet to find anyone to hangout w outside of clubs and classes. Let alone at the upcoming football games…..its gonna be me myself and I there.

Anyone else going through the same thing?

just wondering if it's possible to work a 3rd shift/overnight job while going to school in person. i work a hotel 3rd shift job and love it so much, it's the best bc barely anyone comes in but considering i get off at 7 am and classes are usually in the morning, im guessing it makes it harder to complete ur degree while having this type of schedule.

i'm supposedly going to be a FACS major so im just wondering how this can balance out, bc ive seen some of the syllabi on the bulletin and they show only class times in the morning :/ but idk if that's the final schedule. thank you!

I've been trying to do my research, but I can't seem to find out any separate information regarding out-of-state UGA transfers.

Any out of state transfers who see this; just wondering what your stats were, and anyone who might have any information regarding things like acceptance rates or odds for an out of state transfer would be most appreciated

I have been on the same laptop for 5+ years, and it’s unable to handle the programs I need to run for school. I desperately need a new one with good specs but I really can’t afford to shell out top dollar money rn. I haven’t seen anything crazy though a normal Google search for generic student deals. Any advice?

(But if you know of any really good generic student deals for higher-end laptops I may have overlooked I’m also open to that!)
