Mayo with the chips, Colemans English Mustard with the sausages. Added a touch of Wiltshire Chilli Farm Naga Sauce to the beans to spice it up a bit.

Brioche isn’t for burgers, milk or potato buns are perfect.

Edit: food-related for christs sake

V pleased with my food over the last couple days. Sept 1st always reminds me of going back to school, and felt like I wanted some home cooking. All homemade, some ingredients from the garden!

Cottage pie with a cheesy mash
Sandwich loaves (SO light and fluffy but good structure for sandwiches)
Creamy chicken with parmesan and brocolli with crispy potatoes
Vegetable and chicken soup (very brothy n nice as I have a cold)

Question Any help finding dressed/bleached tripe in London???

Hi, I haven’t been able to find any dresses tripe in London at all. I would like to buy for some meals I want to make, I’ve been craving it all week. Does anybody know if there is anywhere that sells it? I've bought tripe from Asian stores before but it is raw and unbleached and still has that extremely strong taste which I would prefer to be bleached out. I’m looking specifically for bleached tripe though. Any help would be great :)!

Homemade / home assembled Yesterday's BBQ, Tonight's Dinner.

Had an amazing bbq yesterday. We had so much food that we ended up taking some home.

Beef ribs, pork ribs, chicken, steak sausages and kasewurst. All from Taylors of Sale. Plus amazing corn on the cob. I don't eat pork so I can't say how that was but everything else was fantastic.

Today's dinner was a chopped red and green salad with a crunchy seed mix and some of the hot honey and lime marinated chicken. The leftover steak sausages on the side were turned into a butty.

Feeling under the weather, lil feverish tonsillitis situation, so chicken noodle soup was the obvious choice. stock made from scratch ! (from a rotisserie chook)

edit idk why this subreddit has sucked all the saturation of this image? I promise it’s a vibrant soup!

Question Tobys mash

Hey, is there anyone here who’s worked at a toby carvery and can tell me how they make their normal mash? I’ve not been many times in my life but I know I loved having the mash with the onion gravy and would love to make it at home if possible

Homemade / home assembled "5 a day" chicken pasta

Okay so technically not 5/5, but 4 of my 5 a day in 1 bowl! Beetroot fusili (first time trying it, absolutely lovely), chicken, cherry tomatoes, courgette, spinach, onion, and philadelphia cheese added at the end to make a creamier sauce. Absolutely lovely and so hearty as the seasons are changing
