refund

this is my first semester at UWG and was wondering do i need to sign up to bank mobile to receive my refund and is there something i need to check or do for that? TIA :)

You do need to log in to bankmobile and choose how you want your refund. I strongly recommend you choose to deposit your funds in an existing external bank account and DO NOT create/ deposit to a bank mobile checking account. Bankmobile (now First Carolina Bank) is a predatory banking company. They make their money by charging exorbitant fees to students who are just learning financial literacy.

If you don't have a bank account yet, most major banks and all credit unions offer a free checking account.

And you’ll also have a daily spending limit with the BankMobile account they’ll get you to sign up for. Please use your external bank account to keep your sanity intact.
