Ignite Work Study question

Does anyone know if an international student who is part-time in their final semester is eligible for the Ignite program?

I understand that Ignite generally requires international students to be registered in an 80% course load, but I'm wondering if there is an exception for students who are part-time because they only have their remaining required coursework to complete their degree. Thanks

Students who take on an ignite position are approved by ignite before their paperwork is accepted/processed so there is very little wiggle room in that, otherwise the department won't receive funding for the positon if they hire an ineligible student.

A department can hire you as a non-ignite casual student if they so choose but that would be subject to available funds.
