I just ordered an item from UberEATS and noticed I was charged a bag fee even though I never received a bag. I ordered a pizza which did not come in a bag. Curious if we should be looking at the fees going forward and assuring we get a bag? I know it is only 25 cents but still paying for something you do not get...not happy about that. I flagged this to support to get a refund. Again only 25 cents but I am not letting them keep it.

And does anyone know who keeps this fee? Is it the delivery apps or the restaurant?

Is there really no freaking way to get in contact with a HUMAN??? I'm trying to tell them that my food is deadass INEDIBLE and the damn AI gave me a $5 credit to my wallet that then deducted a $4 and some change tip??? Like this is so unacceptable but i literally cannot get in contact with a human. Any suggestions??

This was an easy shop & deliver so I didn’t take long at all. Everything was in stock. It was three items, two of them were quantity of five and I didn’t have to replace anything. I don’t understand how pricing and tip gets calculated. Did the customer decide the tip ahead of the order getting picked up or does UberEats give the customer the suggested tip amount?

So something came up on my background check: a misdemeanor from 1997. Will I be disqualified/deactivated?

I placed an order. The merchant called me to let me know that they did not have some of the items available after the order had already gone through, and also that delivery was unavailable. They further informed me that due to the version of the app that I was using, they were unable to cancel the order on their end. The merchant advised me to cancel the order. I was charged the full $77 by Uber because the merchant had already accepted the order. So what it comes down to is, I was charged $77 just for using the app.

The representative I chatted with was so unhelpful and dismissive that I doubt they were human. Do I have any recourse for a full refund?

EDIT: PayPal resolved the issue in my favor, and have processed the full refund. Thank you to all Redditors who pointed me in the right direction.

I just moved house and want to delete the old address and add a new one. I cannot find how to do it in the app or online. I go on the app, hit account, click on home, and it has my old address and has no option anywhere to delete it and add a new one. Pissed me off so much that I’m now asking reddit :/

Just started my shift, completed 1 delivery, the person didn’t give me cash or anything of the sort, and I got this notification??? Yet my balance isn’t negative so I have no idea what it could possibly be for

The delivery driver was furious at me because he said he couldn't find my building. I know its a big place but all my other driver's in the past found it just fine, there are big numbers at the top. I was trying to respectfully give him the directions but he was just being so rude and yelling and kept cutting me off and screaming why is the complex so big. I got fed up and told him I don't want the food anymore and to cancel; didnt even feel comfortable that he didnt do anything to the food after being so upset with me.

I tried to ask ubereats support to cancel and explained what happened, but I think the support was an AI? Because it just did not understand me at all. It ended up cancelling for me, which is not what I wanted (I wanted him or support to cancel since he was being so rude and unwilling to listen) and charging me for the full order.

I've ordered hundreds of times and never had anybody get so angry before, in the past they just respectfully ask me which apartment building! Anyways do you think I'll get my money back? I was able to speak to a human and the phone and he said there is nothing he can do because i should have called first, but i did try to and it forced me to use the AI bot first. Anyways he said he will let his supervisor know and they will get back to me in 24 hours or less.

If push comes to shove i will just call my bank but i rather not get banned. maybe im the one who did something wrong but i never had this kind of experience before

Out of curiosity, I have credits that expire at the end of the month. If I place an order on UberEATS for delivery (it shows that pickup is unavailable) and then just pickup myself because I’m nearby, does that cause a problem for the driver? I would text or call them and just tell them “hey no need to deliver I got it myself, have the time back” but would Uber not let them mark it without driving to the store and to my house? I am considering doing this whenever I need to burn credits because I don’t like to wait that much!

Restaurants claim that pickup confirmation policy exist, and that drivers MUST follow it or won't receive food. Managers of restaurants demand that their employees must enforce policy. However, my question is...where the evidence of such policy?! I have not seen written proof of this policy. If drivers don't see written proof of this policy, why do drivers have to follow it?!

I placed a large order over an hour ago, and since then I have not had a single driver assigned ti my order. I am concerned that the store I ordered from may close soon, and the order was over $100. What do I do? If the store closes before my order is able to be picked up, do I get refunded?

I deliver for all 3 and encounter stolen orders that I have to cancel without pay multiple times a day with Uber Eats. At the same time I can count on one hand the number of times Ive ever encountered a stolen order with Doordash, and I've literally never had a stolen order with Grubhub.

This happens every time I place an order, the drivers end up much further down on an adjacent street. I have my location pin in the right place and the address is correct and I have a description of my building.

Evertime I get a phone call saying that they are outside but they are actually quite far way, they all seem really pissed off to, but I don’t think it’s me because all my information is correct. Do drivers just not look at the location pins?

How do you guys reach good customer service representative?
Over the past few days, I have been trying to fix a problem where when I chose priority delivery after placing my order and it somehow decided to take off my 25% off promotion. I know for sure the 25% off $60+ is compatible with priority order because I tested it before I placed my order.

I called 5 different people and every single one says "let me place you on hold" and after 30 seconds they just hang up. I tried the live chats and they say the promotion would only work if there's no other deals, but I literally have evidence from my bank account that showed a charge of $79 before I chose priority order. Once I switched to priority order, it went to $92.

A few years ago I remember customer support being helpful and understanding but now it just feels so automated. I even tried going through their twitter support and it seems that is also outsourced to the same people handling their customer service.

My unit is hard to find- i put instructions and I put please call me if you can't find it. When they are arriving I say let me know if you can't find it and put instructions AGAIN. And they just wander around for 10-15 mins. Like I'm trying to help you. I just don't understand the hesitation to message or call ?

I called five times today and kept getting transferred to a department that I don't actually believe exists. I asked to escalate and was told they can't escalate. I may, or may not, get a callback from a supervisor. Is there any way to actually get support or is all just a sham?
