26.04 no longer has randomized backgrounds?

I remember 24.04 and 22.04 had randomized desktop backgrounds. But I can no longer find it in 26.04. How can I get it back?

That's a weird thing to cut, you'd think they'd keep something like that around for people who liked it.

Are you talking about slideshow capabilities? If so, you might look at two options in 26.04:

  • Shotwell -- File > Set as Desktop
  • Gnome Wallpaper Changer Extension

Shotwell works fine. I have not installed or tested the Gnome Wallpaper Changer Extension.
