This happened a while back when I was delivering for DoorDash around Mesa, Arizona, and I still don't have a good explanation for it.

My own car was in the shop at the time, so I was driving my mom's newer Ford Expedition. It had all the collision sensors and warning systems that my car didn't have, which becomes important.

It was nighttime, and I turned down a side street while heading to a delivery.

Not long after I turned, I looked behind me and saw two headlights.

They were coming up behind me fast.

Not normal "some asshole is speeding" fast. They were closing the distance quickly enough that I realized I was about to get rear-ended.

Then the Expedition apparently came to the same conclusion.

The collision warnings started going off.

At that point, I didn't have time to do anything. I remember instinctively ducking my head down and bracing myself because I genuinely thought I was about to get slammed from behind.

I waited for the impact.

Nothing.

No crash. No horn. No sound of another vehicle braking or swerving.

Nothing.

I looked back up.

The headlights were gone.

Not farther back.

Not stopped.

Gone.

Here's the part that has bothered me ever since.

There was nowhere for that vehicle to go.

No intersecting side street. No parking lot. No alley. No driveway it could have whipped into. There wasn't some obvious place where a car could have turned off and disappeared while my head was down.

And whatever I saw apparently wasn't just something my eyes interpreted as headlights.

The Expedition's collision system reacted to something approaching from behind too.

I remember sitting there afterward trying to figure out what the hell had just happened. If it had only been the lights, I could probably convince myself it was a reflection, weird perspective, exhaustion, or another car somewhere I hadn't noticed.

But why did the vehicle start warning me about an imminent collision at the exact same time?

I've never been able to explain that part.

I'm not claiming it was a ghost car or anything supernatural. Maybe there's a completely mundane explanation I haven't thought of.

But I know what I saw.

Two headlights appeared behind me, rapidly closed the distance, triggered the Expedition's warnings strongly enough that I braced for impact...

and then whatever was behind me simply wasn't there anymore.

Anyone know of a sensor glitch, optical illusion, or road condition that could cause something like this?

Because years later, this one still bothers the hell out of me.

09/01/2016 Phoenix Driving east bound at sunset and noticed these perfectly straight lines the 1st 2 photos were taken about 15 mins and about 7miles after the last photo. I have never seen anything like this away from a sunset. The lines should be converged going the opposite direction.

Last Sunday I was going threw my Facebook messages and came across. Missed Facebook call from my mom.she passed Away almost 6 years ago in Dec the missed phone call was July 2nd at 652 am I clicked on her name thinking maybe it was a older missed call from when she was alive nope it was July 2nd of this year...July second is her birthday and I know I was awake at that time because I was missing her pretty bad....I never saw this missed call until last Sunday and I know I've been threw my messenger a lot.....this has got me totally confused!

TW - Suicide.

This past Friday morning at around 3:30am I had this horrible nightmare that my mom shot herself in the head right in front of me and died. It was her in my dream, but not really her as these things go in dreams. I just found out that one of her old friends committed suicide the exact same way at the same time and day of my nightmare. He had terminal cancer. Just really eerie.

This happened around 4:40am and it shook me a bit. So i was in my room scrolling through my phone when i realized that my cat wasn’t in my bedroom. He has a spot where he usually sleeps behind the couch, so i went there to go get him.

For context I live in a 3 story villa, my room is in the 3rd floor and so is the room where my cat wasn’t at.
My parents turn off all lights so whenever i walk through the corridors i use my phones flash. As i was walking by the stairs i felt this wave of shaking coming from downstairs, it’s not the first time it’s happened, every time it does i get chills all over my body, idk if it’s my imagination bc I’m scared at night or it really means something.

So okay i ignore it and go to get my cat. I pet him a bit before picking him up, and as i was walking by the stairs, this big moth comes flying from the 2nd floor almost hitting my face.

I panic and i turn on the lights quickly, my cat wasn’t freaking out too but probably because of me. The moth looked like it was trying to escape so i opened the balcony door. Thing is it didn’t go it just stayed there on the glass door.

I’m a bit panicked about this, what is it’s a message if a bad thing happening? Or is it a dead relative visiting, but why at night? And that wave that comes from the 1st floor followed by some weird quiet sounds as if someone is walking around?

Today my older brother is flying to come visit us, i really hope it’s not related to him.

What’s your thoughts on this?

Would love to know if anyone has experienced something similar…

About 8 years ago I got really into witchcraft and spirituality (still am now!), and I started doing regular meditations. I have ADHD so I struggle to concentrate so I was listening to guided meditations where someone talks you through what to do so that I could keep focused. I was doing a guided meditation to “meet your deity”, in which you imagine yourself walking through a meadow to eventually be greeted by said deity. I had done this meditation a few times and could always visualise myself in the meadow, walking, the sounds, the smells etc, but when I’d get the the part where you “meet” the deity my mind would just be blank.

This particular day I did the same meditation and it went exactly the same, at the point the deity were meant to reveal themselves I saw nothing, so I carried on with the meditation as normal. Right before the end of the meditation I had the clearest vision in my mind of a beautiful woman with reddish hair. She had deer antlers on her head and leaves stuck in her long hair. It was such a quick flashing image, it must have only lasted for a second but it was very detailed and I remember coming out of it thinking “who was that??”

I went to Google to see if I could find a Goddess that looked similar, only to find of a Welsh Goddess named Elen of the Ways. The pictures of her on Google are EXACTLY what I saw in my mind. I had never heard of this goddess before, and I don’t think she is very well known. She is also a goddess of deer among other things, and deer have always been special animals to me. It amazed me so much how spot on the image had been. I’ve never experienced anything else like this, even doing meditations 8 years later!

Has anyone else had an experience like this? I still can’t explain how I saw her in my minds eye so perfectly, then to find pictures of a deity that looks just like what I saw. Mind is still blown 8 years later 😅

It’s a quiet and calm night here on the south east coast, not a storm cloud in sight. However the strangest thing just happened here, which has never happened in my whole time of living here (5 years), my power just flickered off and back on in less than 2 seconds. The entire house lost power and I do mean it was surely no more than 2 seconds and the power was back on.

I didn’t think anything of it other than that it was a bit strange but nothing to crazy. It irked me because I was playing a game online with my friend who lives in Tennessee so I got disconnected and well, we lost.

Here’s the weird part:

Only a measly 35-45 minutes later, we’re playing the game again, and what do you know - his power flickered! He told me that he’s legitimately never had a non storm induced power outage after living in the same house for 26 years. He described it to be EXACTLY as mine was… mind you, he lives over 600 miles away from me, and it’s a perfectly clear night where he’s at as well. What could possibly be the chances??? Maybe I’m just missing something here, and I’m no conspiracy theorist, but I do wonder if we just either experience something geo political happening, or even crazier, extraterrestrial.

Has anyone else experienced this tonight 8/31/26 around 11 - 12 EST?

1-15 headed north towards the Las Vegas landfill. Her and I were yapping to each other the whole time I just remember we were continuously talking. When we were on the freeway (I-15) a little past the landfill I said WTF are those lights in the sky she says "I don't know", and then we both blacked out somehow both of us do not remember from right past the landfill to when we came to which was right outside this section of i-15 that has high walls and your going downhill it's curvy and twisty and when you come out there's a city there. We do not remember that portion of the drive neither of us. We were both sober and awake not tired at all. Can anyone see if anything is registered on a flight path in that area around 12:30 am - 2:00 am? The other odd thing is my timeline tracking in Google maps is off by 28 minutes. When I used to live near the border of Nevada the drive would always take about 1 hour 30 minutes. My timeline shows I made it in an hour.

Something non human at my brother's house in Eastern NC

So a couple years ago I went to live with my younger sibling at their home in Eastern NC almost near the Piedmont region. I lived three for almost three years, until last year when I moved. As soon as I moved in, things were off per se. I ALWAYS felt like I was being watched from day in to day out there regardless if my brother was home or not. One of the first things that happened in particular that I recall, was when we were sitting on the couch in the living room just got done eating, and my purse was on the island in the kitchen area going from the living room to the kitchen (double wide trailer), something physically grabbed the strap of the bag, and yanked it off of the middle of the island. My brother laughed. I was disturbed and had an unsettling feeling. My brother was always chalking things up to "I was drunk", "it was the ghost", or "I'm crazy". He did not take my seriously, until one night he was at work and I was at home by myself, my door closed, as I was laying in bed I began hearing what sounded like footsteps coming down the hallway. So I texted my brother, and told him what was going home, and he flew home in less than 20 mins or so give or take. Nothing was there. Then my ex boyfriend moves in with us too. This is where things really started to go haywire. He was supposedly "sensitive" I guess you can say. He had told me before in the last about his own personal experiences he had with the paranormal etc, and he once told me he kept "seeing a man" out of the corner of his peripheral vision. He didn't describe him to me, and hell he could've been full of shit for all I know, I just know I believed him when he said that to me, and I still do. The energy there to me felt almost unisex if that makes sense. I couldn't tell whether it was of female or male energy, this is what stumped me the most. Anyways, me and my ex argued a lot after he moved in with me there towards the end of our relationship and him living with me. A lot of amped up scenarios then began to occur in and outside of the home. We would lift my bedroom window in my bedroom and smoke cigarettes by it at night time/times when we didn't feel like stepping out for a smoke behind my brother's wishes. One night we were puffing away at a ciggy, and we began hearing noises outside of the window towards the wood line/tree line that was in between our home and the dirt road that separated us from it. We then began listening very intensely, and we even broke out a high lumen flashlight too to shine it out into the treeline, and of course we didn't see shit because of the bright glare off of the leaves/foliage. It was almost like someone/something was out in the treeline just watching us through my window from there, just watching, waiting, listening. Idk what it is or was, but would like to get an idea of what it was at least because my mind still tends to veer off to these occurrences frequently because it is so weird and puzzling, and unexplained to me. One night we were having out usual open window smoke, and again we began hearing things coming from the treeline. My ex went in my brother's room, grabbed his shotgun, and took off into the treeline/wood line by himself to find out what it was/is out there being creepy. As he was gone he told me to shut and lock the window, and the front and back doors too. I locked the doors, but kept my window open because curiosity kills the cat. As he was gone for roughly about 10 mins give or take, I got really mad all of sudden and I started yelling into the woods from my window "you're a f\*\*kn p\*\*sy, show me yourself!" As he yelled this I'll be damned if whatever it was started to come forward towards my window and I dropped and locked the window so quick it was insane and my heart was beating so fast. Be careful what you wish for I suppose... Hah. Anyways, my ex returns with seeing nothing or finding anything out there. Imagine that. I have more stories to tell that's just the tip of the iceberg y'all, if you would be interested in hearing more please feel free to let me know and I might post another one. In the meantime, if anybody could perhaps provide some insight to me as to what this could have been potentially, or what was going on there, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I am spending my holidays in a quite remote area by the beach in Tuscany, Italy. I’ve had this house since I was a kid, 25 years ago+.
Lots of pine trees/woods, a lagoon and the beach within a 5 minute walk from my house.

My house has a garden and my window faces it, it was roughly 1.30 am, it was open because it was warm. I was watching Netflix on my pc and was well awake.

Suddenly I look out and there is this black silhouette walking past my window, away from it, in a very human like walking manner.
Mostly what I happened to recognize distinctly was the shape of a head, or better said, its silhouette being cast from the moonlight. And the rhythm of his walking, the pattern and the energy of it telling me it’s a man, with some weight and rusticity to itself, making me think he would be a 40-50 year old (not so smooth moving), stout guy, around 5ft6 or so.

I stand up with my heart pounding and I see it leaving my field of vision
I couldn’t hear any steps and the gates leading to the garden/ house were closed.

I had a feeling it was a male presence, again it wanted nothing from me and it wasn’t menacing but I was scared shitless. My dog who was lying in bed with me didn’t flinch, but he was dead asleep and he’s a senior.

Trembling I set up a camera with night vision to see if it was some human passing by but it didn’t pick up on any object moving for the rest of the night (some alerts but nothing showed up on screen).

I initially dismissed it thinking I must have been imagining things, but then I spoke to a friend last night and he confirmed there is a lot of folklore regarding presences in this part of the region in the countryside, associated with farming and animals mostly. I can’t get it out of my head now and I believe was in denial, I definitely saw something.

My friend reassured me it’s probably not malignant if it didn’t interact or stare but I am still worried and would like to communicate with the presence that I am not a threat and such. I mean after all it must have seen me grow up, play with my cousins and dogs, spending time with my love interests etc etc….

Overall I’m not sure what to make of this, what could have that been?
I can’t stop thinking I’m not alone on my property.
I wanted to spend my winter here after tourist season is over but I am now a little nervous to do so

Is it just me or can you see the images on our bakkie window

Laptops and desktop computers glitch around me quite often, for no reason and this has been happening for 30 years since I was a kid. Things glitch so randomly that I can't even explain what happened to other people because there is no logic or reason behind why. I feel like I'm getting gaslit by my computer. Other digital devices don't do this. Cellphones don't do this, ATM's don't do this, self checkouts don't do this. Only desktop computers and laptops.

My mother also experiences the same technology issues. I consider her fairly tech savy for someone in their mid 60's. We call it the technology curse and often joke that a witch hexed us in a past life and we need to hire someone to lift the curse. Lol

I swear to you it's not user error. I can sit next to my coworkers and follow the exact same set of instructions to do something on the computer at the same time as them, using the same software and type of devices and it won't work for me.

Examples:

*Today I was editing a word doc with my supervisor and we were reviewing notes made by someone else on our team. I go to delete a comment from review and instead of deleting the 1 comment the word doc decided to start marking out ALL the text in the document. When I save and close out of it and re open the file, the icons in my file explorer drive start flashing like a rave and I can't click on anything so I have to restart my computer.

*I'll be able to see all the data fields in a spreadsheet, then when I send it to my supervisor they can't see 1/2 the data.

My tin foil hat theory is that my body produces a magnetic field that messes with electronic devices.

In 2005 i went to visit my friend Mike who was just headed out to see a "witch" he had been seeing. He invited me to tag along and although I don't believe in such things, I went along anyway and followed them in my car. We came to a house where the woman was staying for the week. My friend explained the woman came from out of town one weekend a month to see people. He said she knew about the future and she had been spot on about things no one could possibly know about him and his sister and that I should go in to see her.

Again, not being a believer I was interested as a debunker more than anything else, so I grabbed an old middle school photo I had in my car from a recent move. In this picture were about 20 boys and 20 girls and I was going to use this picture to stump the woman and reveal her as a fraud.

I went in to the room and I introduced myself to the woman sitting at a dining table. I said hi and introduced myself by first name only. She may have said her name but I don't remember it now. I sat down across the table from her and she asked me what I wanted to know. I said I had just started seeing a girl and that I wanted to know if it would all work out. She said that, yes, I would get married with her and that we would have our ups and downs but that everything would be alright in the end. My skeptic brain told me anyone can simply say that and that was not proof of anything. I then pulled out the middle school picture from the envelope and put it on the table. I said, "she's in this picture, can you point her out to me?" The woman then used her index finger and placed it right on my girlfriend's face. She said, "this is her, you will be married one day." I felt chills go down my body as this woman picked the right girl from about twenty girls in a group picture. She asked me if I wanted to know anything else and I was so perturbed that I said no. I asked how much I owed her and she said whatever I wanted to pay. I gave her thirty dollars and I left immediately.

Once at my friend Mike's house he asked me if she had told me anything. I told him the story and he said she was definitely clairvoyant. He said he had seen her three times already and every time she had told him he would die at a young age. I told Mike not to worry about it, but he was definitely worried. I was about 25 years old at the time and Mike was about 27. About 5 years later, at 32, Mike was diagnosed with stomach cancer and he died of a botched laser stomach surgery.

I married my then girlfriend and we had children. We definitely had up and downs and are now divorced, but you know what? Everything is most definitely alright, so she was right on that too 😊. Needless to say, I now believe some people out there can definitely see the future.

When i was like around 5-4 this textured stain blob flat kinda just starting applying in my bathroom this is before it got really weird it creeped me out then i started noticing an eye like a cat or snake eye and it started staring at me every time i was in the bathroom i was scared to go in the bath or in the bathroom i told my mom about it and she said she could see an eye there was an eye so i continued to be scared of going in the bathroom then she finally got rid of it but it still triggers me like it felt so real i was real to me anyway so yeah just wondering if anyone knows or if i have no clue

Orb ufo in night sky above Ponoka Alberta Canada on March 21st, moving from south east to southwest at about 11:00pm. Seen with my mother and father . It was BEAUTIFUL!! Forgive me it was my first time , I was shakey , trying not to breath too hard and please excuse my foul mouth...I was trip'n ballz.

This is a really old experience, 7 months ago but im reposting because I didn't get an answer last time

Hello, as I'm writing this it's 4:39 AM. A few minutes ago I was boiling an egg because I was hungry and has just finished a meal, as I was returning to my room from the kitchen I heard a continuous rhythmic banging near our back door. It went 1, 1, 2 if that makes sense? My room and the kitchen are connected by one hallway, and the backdoor is connected to a sideways extension of that hallway (please forgive me if this doesn't make sense). The door is pure heavy wood, and it doesn't shudder because of the wind or anything. I don't think it was some person banging it either as our house has a tall gate that is always locked and tall walls that cannot be trespassed easily. Even if it was some person I would hear them coming since my room is facing the gate so I usually hear footsteps. What or who was it?

This is my 7th post of my own personal paranormal/unexplainable event. Not too much to this one really. Me and my girlfriend at the time went to spend a weekend at a cabin on the White River. We got there late on a Friday night, just the 2 of us. These pictures were taken literally seconds apart. The first one shows an odd smoke/fog formation near the fire pit. It's odd because there was no fire at all or had been. Like I said we got there late Friday and these were taken around 7:20 in the morning on Saturday. I don't know... It's an odd thing so I'm posting it lol
