Discussion [Yinsu] N4RRATE 'forced' himself on entry / specifically wanted to play Waylay in Kickoff for SEN because it was the most broken agent at the time
N4RRATE reflecting on his Kick-off w/ SEN. Starts talking about it around 3min mark. Says he 'forced' himself onto the entry, and that he specifically wanted to play Waylay because it was the most broken agent at the time.
He is clearly the star player on KC and has put himself onto the highest fragging agents to get them to Champs. He actually goes on to talk in this interview about how he is playing the most star player fragger agents in the current meta. The Waylay did NOT work out for him and Kaplan rightfully gets some heat for it but hearing Narrate talk about it this way makes sense that he wanted to play the most high impact agent that was in the meta at the time and was trying to get active as the star player. Especially considering how Americas was specifically. alym and Timotino were both absolutely farming the tournament on Waylay if I recall correctly.
Glad his Waylay was meh and that there was only a couple maps of him on Chamber before he got dropped so we could get him back in blue though 😍💙

Esports [Povoleri] fRoD opened up about MIBR's disappointing VALORANT season in 2026: he took the blame, said there was "too much ego" on the team, and made it clear he could stick with the Brazilian org as long as he has control over lineup decisions.
This is all through translate so it may not be spot on -
"It’s my fault [that MIBR didn’t work out this year]. I didn’t assemble the lineup, but it’s my role to bring trophies and deliver decent performances. For the organization, any lineup they put in front of me is fine. But, yes, I feel very sad about this part because I kind of pointed out many things that I thought were going wrong and we tried to fix them, but it didn’t work. And that’s pretty much it,” stated fRoD.
"Honestly, if MIBR wants me to stay, I'll stay, I love the organization. But for sure I'll need to have control of the team, in that aspect, the lineup and all that. But it's too early to talk and think about these things. That's all, I've known for a long time that I need to be the guy who puts the team together and all that. But it happens. And we'll see," he concluded.

son. Just met a witch and had a talk with her about VCT champs
So basically met her on ebay she said she could make anything possible so i booked a timeslot and when i entered she made me eat some magic stuff so that i can enter the spiritual world then i had a vision where liquid finally won both of their group matches against EDG and PRX to make it to the playoffs where we faced off against KC in the finals and after a nerve wrecking very intense match we win it 3-2 and nAts daddy lifts the champs trophy
afterwards i think the spell wore off and i left the spiritual relm to come back to reality then i begged the witch to make it happen and she told me that i need to satisfy the spirits so i gave them 2k first and then they needed more spiritual gambling so then i signed a lease with the witch which said that liquid HAS to lift the trophy at oct 18th on everyone on r/ValorantCompetitive 's souls so yea guys rejoice because ur souls are safe and intact as long as we lift the trophy (we will)

Esports NRG and initiators.
I find it funny that NRG's list of initiator alums over the years is insanely stacked.
At various points in the last few years they have had crashies, ethan, eeiu, verno and brawk, all of whom you could argue as being some of the best players in Americas overall. The only top Americas initiator players they haven't had is The Guard/G2 franchise player Trent.

Discussion Stun Buffs
I feel like foe the longest time, stun is the worst(like 1/10 effectiveness) debuff in the game. Its all cosmetic with a slight fire rate decrease, but when all it takes is one shot to the head that sometimes doesnt matter. I think having a stun buff where it displaces your crosshair by a certain amount would defiently help instead to throw off croshair placement on angle they are already holding. This would reduce the one taps that happen while full stunned.
A little off track but as a tejo main, switching his missiles and stun ability keys would be great so that he can benefit off these buffs more with a piece of rechargeable utility since he is the only initiator without one.

Discussion One comp for every map, but each agent must be used at least once...
This is a challenge I did last year, with every year it gets more and more difficult. This is my best attempt...
Ascent: Omen - Deadlock - Veto - Yoru - Tejo
- Variant of a comp used during Tejo meta last year. Not ideal but you need Tejo to be solo on at least one map, otherwise you can't fit all the agents.
Abyss: Astra - Harbor - Vyse - Waylay - Sova
- Combination of NRG's 2025 and 2026 comps, with Astra mixed in too.
Haven: Miks - Cypher - Jett - Phoenix - Sova
- Default comp with Miks instead of Omen.
Lotus: Clove - Killjoy - Iso - Raze - Fade
- T1 Meteor-esque comp, again Clove has to be solo controller on at least one map to fit every agent in.
Split: Omen - Viper - Reyna - Raze - Skye
- Old Split meta with Reyna instead of Jett. Just threw Reyna in somewhere.
Sunset: Omen - Sage - Breach - Raze - Gekko
- Old PRX comp. Probably only map Gekko is even possibly viable on.
Summit: Brimstone - Chamber - Neon - Kayo - Sova
- Variant of NRG's comp with Chamber.
Thoughts? If you guys can do better then go ahead.

Discussion Zekken is not suited to be a good second entry or flex player
I just need to rant about this a little bit. Btw Zekken is my favorite player in vct so there's no hate. But I'm tired of teams trying to put zekken on anything besides the main entry duelist. Yes this includes sova, Phoenix, and any other agent that's not a main entry agent. He is just not suited for that. He may play passable on it but it will never be good.
Reasons why for the second entry:
Compared to the top aimers zekken actually doesn't have that good of aim. Now don't get me wrong amongst most pros he has amazing aim but amongst the really great aimers. He actually doesn't have that good of aim. Where he thrives is his quickness and exceptional abilities in things like movement, instincts, decision making, etc. Which makes him thrive and play better in the entry duelist. But not as a secondary. He's not going to win those fair 50/50 fights as much compared to the really crazy pure aimers like primmie, demon1, cryo, etc. But he will kill people when he's coming in there like a missile and knowing where to shoot like he's a mind reader. Even though he's being util dumped on. Which also makes his omen better than his other flex agents tbh. But not as good as the others.
Reasons for the flex:
He simply just doesn't play it anymore. I don't care what zekken played back in 2022. It's 2026, he hasn't mained sova in years. Whenever he's played sova it doesn't look good, all the good sova mains now have been playing sova for years and years. You think zekken who plays sova once in a while in ranked is going to show up, scrim with sova for a couple months and be as good? Ofc not

Discussion MBTI in Valorant eSports
Hi I'm kinda new to the sub. I was wondering if there are other people in this sub that have studied MBTI properly and are willing to discuss some of the players or staff types
I have my personal guesses, but are mainly based on vibe typing and not actual cognitive functions
Btw please tell me I'm not wrong and LEV Sato is either ESFP or ENFP
