Okay - I should be ecstatic. All I can think is “the test was wrong. Maybe the shipping got it messed up. It’s an error.” Part of me wishes they did find SOMETHING so it feels believable lol. Can anyone confirm this science and put my mind at ease?! 😂

Newly Snipped 7 days since Vasectomy

Upvotes

It's been a steady healing process. Pain is down each day. And it was so low today I didn't use tylenol/ acetaminophen today! The worst pain is when I stand for longer than a few minutes. So you shouldn't plan to move much, even simple walks.

The bruising is going down for the last 2 days. Both inflammation and the size of the black bruising is going away.

My doctor said wait a week to have normal sexual activity. And this morning I ejaculated, pretty much no pain. More watery than normal and NO blood! I have a goal to have 40 ejaculations before my first test. Dr. Walsh said to wait 6-8 weeks before the first test.

And the second test I am hoping will mean I am fully sterile!

Newly Snipped Scab Hanging Off

Upvotes

Got the snip on Friday (8/28) I took Friday, Sat, Sunday, and Monday off. I did my procedure through the VA because that is where I receive my healthcare from. The procedure went well, was able to stay off my feet for all of Friday and Saturday, and most of Sunday and Monday. Went back to work today and went to one meeting, had some mild pain and decided to work from home and ice on and off the rest of the day.

I have 2 incisions that were stitched up. The one incision has a scab that is pretty much half hanging off that is extremely uncomfortable because it keeps getting caught on the jock strap and I’m getting what can only be described as like this pulling pain. Has this happened to anyone?
