I really should call Logan back..
I purchased a new battery for my old Sidekick 3, and it powered right up! (Veronica used this phone throughout season 3.)

I just spent the last 5 days binge-watching Veronica Mars and being fully straight up where the hell was this my entire life.
When I started it I assumed it was just another CW high school drama with mediocre writing. My god how wrong I was and how happy I was to be wrong.
Maybe it's recency bias but let me just say that I don't think I've ever seen a show which has the best of the best tropes, amazing acting, brilliant characters and writing that takes the audience seriously.
Every single character on this show feels fleshed out and real, and Veronica is such a great protagonist. A female protagonist that is real in every way that matters she's got grit and strength and all that but she's also angry and vindictive and is so so bad at expressing herself. The show never shies away from letting their characters being flawed and I truly think there is nothing better than that.
The mystery is there and the mystery is great but truly the way they let the characters being is the best thing about the show. And nobody embodies that better than Logan. Logan is such a brilliant character because he is the perfect tortured rich bad boy but Jason Dohring makes him so real. His expressions are so understated so subtle but there is no doubt what logan feels in any scene in the show. Every single fuckign scene he was in you couldn't look away. Man insane. When I read that they never even planned on having him as a romantic interest and did it purely because of the way him and Kristen Bell interacted - like that's brilliant. That's so amazing.
Truly a shame that the show was cancelled. Season 3 truly suffered from the rating pressure
But man o man was the first season the best tv I've seen in a while.
I just have so many thoughts and I was so invested I haven't been this invested in a show in forever. I took a sick day just to watch the show. What an absolutely incredibly experience.

Hi, I'm Jen Johans. I’ve been a professional writer, critic, podcaster, & historian for over 20 years. For most of 2026, I've been working to secure a contract to write a comprehensive book about TV's Veronica Mars. My agent & I have come close, & I’ve begun reaching out to Rob Thomas & others involved in the series. Unfortunately, with nonfiction book sales down, publishers fear there just aren't enough Marshmallows left who would be interested. Let's prove 'em wrong! We’ve always done well on Kickstarter, so I’m trying it there. Please join me & share. Thank you so much!

i'm about halfway into season 3 and the hot garbage that is now the theme song is absolutely devastating. this was the rare show where i actively liked the theme. just ... please. tell me they put it back.

SPOILER for season 2:
So Kendall goes to Duncan's room and grabs a hair from the shower. Duncan has been gone for a hot minute by this point. That shower hadn't been cleaned by the housekeeping staff? We see Logan has a "fluffer" come in for his pillows and the room of a teenage boy is not a total mess so housekeeping is definitely in there cleaning. But there's still a random hair in the shower a month or so later and how ever many cleanings later? Just one of my little pet peeves, but I know show gotta show.

How the hell is the hotel gonna just open up my room for some random guy lol. Feel like Logan should’ve gotten some kind of compensation for the invasion of privacy. Didn’t even knock!

I watched seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4, and before queuing up the movie, I watched a trailer and realized the movie falls between seasons 3 and 4! I feel like a dope, but I am still looking forward to finishing my late-to-the-party binge.

It’s been so damn long since I’ve seen this show that I forgot about the whole Aaron Echols killing Lilly thing! I absolutely love this damn show!

I discovered Veronica Mars right after having surgery. I have binge watched almost all episodes, and am now facing a future without Veronica and her crew.
What am I supposed to do now??

In case you wanted to learn something about trees....I guess.
Just don't play the drinking game of taking a shot every time he says "you know".

I would pick that one character dying after being struck on the head. I cheered when I first saw that.

even though I’ve seen this show a million times, I have one question, when Wallace was asked to join the castle and he went to the hazing thing and Wallace told the story about him and Rashard Rucker running over the homeless man and the guy on the speaker said So your father committed a crime for you? and Wallace said yes so what I don’t understand what was the crime, Wallace’s Dad committed for him?

⚠️MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!! DO NOT CONTINUE READING IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED ALL OF SEASON 1! ⚠️

At the end of season 1 in "Leave It To Beaver," what was the secret Dick and Beaver agreed to take to the grave? When Beaver sees the newspaper expose revealing where Abel Koontz really was the night of Lily's murder... why did he panic? Dick tells him to chill out and that they're taking it to the grave. What secret were they supposedly taking to the grave?
The only thing I can think is that they both thought Logan killed Lily? That they were trying to protect him by not telling anyone that they'd returned home from Mexico with Logan before Lilly was killed?
But if that's the case, why would they automatically assume that the reality of where Abel Kane was the night of the murder... would lead to that discovery?
Beaver was absolutely *panicking*. Do you think they did something else that we never find out about? Did they do something in Mexico that they don't want to be discovered? Beaver doesn't even really seem to like Logan enough to want to protect him.
Obviously part of this is redirection to make the mystery that much more exciting but is there anything else to this?

Okay I’m a first time watcher….. and when sheriff lamb was killed off in s3 I literally thought that there was going to be a reveal that he was still alive and that there was a plan where he needed to disappear to be able to help catch whoever killed the Dean. I thought him and Keith had actually came together and formed some plan after being on the same page about Keith’s findings towards the case. Keith stepping up seemed to put more pressure on everyone.
I was disappointed when I found out he was just actually gone plot wise. Now I’m seeing in real life he wasn’t such a good person, so the director/producer probably was giving him a big f you by removing the character, but not sure if it all was speculation.
I feel like maybe this contributed to lower ratings?? Simply because of the whole back and forth between Veronica lamb and Keith was just gone. Seeing Lamb’s antics play out in episodes was fun even though he was annoying.
Also, we saw Keith lose the election just to have him reinstated anyway. I know that maybe at the time of course they hadn’t planned to kill Lamb off but still….. the fact that he got the sheriff position wasn’t exciting because it just…. happened out of nowhere.

I don't see nearly enough love for our 09er bad boy

Gotta admit, this line from Logan to Veronica melted my heart.
“I can't take that I hurt you when all I want to do is protect you."

I'll start, I decided to do one by seasons :
S1 : Mars vs Mars (in a time where every YA/teen shows were romanticizing teachers sleeping with students, this episode was refreshing and so well written. Truly a standout)
S2 : Look Who's Stalking (It was epic)
S3 : Spit & Eggs (this episode was such a good one for Kristen Bell's acting chops, she really blew me away and obviously the scene where she runs away and the music choice ? Chef's kiss).,

i'm on episode 3 and i just feel like he seems to different to his original character. not in the way of his story but his voice seems different, and i kind of feel like he got botox or something because he looks different but not like he just got older or anything. does anyone else feel the same way or am i crazy

When Veronica is asking Troy about his shenanigans the night his stash & (his dad’s) car was stolen he makes up outlandish activities. One of which is from 9 to 10 they “deleted the records of the Black voters of Florida.”

I just finished binge watching the series, including the movie, super late to the party. I know a lot of people hated how it ended, but I started to wonder about why it ended that way.
I assume they wanted to continue with a 5th season, and wanted to wipe the slate for Veronica. Of course she’d want to get far away from Neptune after what happened, opening up a new show formula for her to be in a new location every episode with a new cast so they don’t have to keep trying to get original actors to be regulars in the show again. Plus no man to tie her down so she can have new flings, which would’ve given me the ick but ratings right?
I’d of watched it. 🙃
