Help Me Find ISO a specific beer
I’ve been on the hunt for the Tofino Brewing Spruce Tip Ale for a gift and I can’t find it anywhere. I think it’s seasonal, but does anyone know where I could find it anywhere that I could call that MIGHT have it? thanks in advance!

Spruce tips are harvested in the spring so anything still available won’t be fresh. Typically they don’t make much, so you’re probably out of luck until next spring.

Vaccum sealed and frozen spruce tips can totally be preserved to brew year round!

I suppose that’s true, but it doesn’t seem like craft breweries keep freezers full of a specific ingredient around to make a fairly niche beer.
Part of what makes seasonal releases like spruce tip and fresh hop beers fun is that you can usually only get them for a couple months a year!

Liquor plus in Royal Oak has a neat selection of Tofino brews, I'd try there if you're nearby

Spruce Tip or Spruce Tree?
I got Spruce Tree Ale from Tofino Brewing last Sept from Cook St Liquor.

If you want to try other offerings both Herald St and Howl currently have Spruce Tip beers. Category 12 and Whistle Buoy had Spruce Tip beers earlier in the summer that may have stock kicking around in liquor stores.

Spruce tree ale was an August release so follow your nose to vessel or liquor Plus

Oh, I think I might know!
I went to Liquor Plus (Saanich Centre location) a couple days ago, and saw a Spruce Tip beer -- pretty sure it was by Tofino Brewing. It piqued my interest, but I didn't try it.
