Cherish reached second place in Vocacolle with no MV, Hatsune Miku on vocals, and an extremely simple topic: a straightforward love song (the Japanese title is literally just “Love”). I think a common criticism of Vocaloid, especially the more popular modern songs, is the community’s tendency to focus on the animation and characters rather than on the music (with the former criticized in songs such as MikuTeto Dance). Cherish absolutely turns that on its head. Cherish is just good music and amazingly clever lyrics, and I hope this kind of song can further maintain popularity within the Vocaloid community.

Been trying to figure it out for a whole. I discovered all the other Miku's from the video this week but can't find these two.

Being an artist means being free to express yourself. But recently all I see notably on instagram is people complaining all the time! "Too many Teto Miku", "what about xyz?"... If you aren't happy that your favorite vocaloid doesn't have enough songs, buy the vocaloid program, and make it yourself. You have no right to demand anything of artists, much less to insult their work because "Teto is too popular right now".

And on the topic of artists, I'm not even going to talk about racist people in artists comment sections... Every Miku and Teto is canon, stop complaining. If you want to see them have an ethnicity you prefer, pick up a pencil, and draw.

This community can be very loving. But we need to remember we are not entitled to art.

So my friend has be a fan of Miku for a little while, but apparently has been spelling her name wrong for half a year! He has be spelling it Muki (Moo-k-ee) instead of Miku (Me-k-oo). So now, we have Muki and Miku. (All I did was invert the image of the official art of Miku V4 from Wikipedia.)

The damned broth took 10 hours of boiling! But it was worth it.
