So as we all know the black lion is the main heart of Voltron but something I noticed after rewatching some scenes. The Black Lion from Voltron Force looks more like a Wolf then a Lion am I the only one who noticed this or thought it.

Please let me know.

Honestly this show is great, the animation and writing had some serious love put into it and was incredible well executed. So as I finished the final episode of season two here are some notes for that episode: it really makes up for the flaws in the last episode and this episode makes the conflict so much larger that the whole first season. Having the Galra witch be Altayen was a surprise to be sure , but a welcome one. As I expected, Alura and Koran are NOT the last two. So one last note: Technically Alura would be queen Alura, not princess, as her father died(at least to was was shown in the first two seasons) so unless they use a different way of crowning a new queen, she should be queen. So yeah, here’s my mini rant.

Does anyone have a Voltron one-two shot fanfiction where Lance reunite with his family and brings Keith to meet them but they don't like him because he's an alien or because he's a boy. It doesn't matter why I just want a fanfic where Lance's family doesn't like Keith.

It has come to my attention that the narrator for the 80s version of Voltron has passed so before I start let’s take a moment of silence.

Honestly why did they try to frame this episode like it’s going to be the last one? Was that the original plan and Dreamworks needed more episodes? Or maybe in the next episode they fail in stopping, very likely. If this was season 8 I would have liked this episode more that I did, but the cliffhanger was cool. Now the cool parts, having Alura apologize to Keith for being be mildly rude was really cool. When the team was on the ship they only survived because of very believable luck. Rip our Galra friend. So yeah, here’s my mini rant

Well given by popular demand, I am currently starting work on reimagining the Voltron Coalition. Won't lie, finding any sort of info about what was ready pre-established was hard for some reason, but hey it also provides a huge amount of opperunity.

Though one thing, and something I'd like for peeps to recommend to me would be the various groups that would make up the coaltion.

Not groups like the Blade of Marmora or anything pre-established, I more mean just groups that peeps make up on their own, or recommendations for areas of research to flesh out the Coalition.

Anywho, I'm still progressing on the Coalition's reimagining and fleshing out. I can't wait to show my progress with you lot!

In this game idea it’s essentially Kingdom Hearts but with beings above gods and Anime worlds. The main characters design is inspired by one of the first anime characters, Astro Boy and the gauntlets are able to channel abilities from the hero of each world. His mother who is a Mys (A being above Gods) took him in after his parents and world were destroyed by other Mys but it was illegal so eventually they found her and killed her but she gifted the main character the gauntlets and gave him a task but the task wasn’t clearly defined. The party companions that travel along with him is Ironmouse and Pikachu from the anime (or another character for the other systems if Nintendo doesn’t want to share) who run into each other after all three of them accidentally get transported to an abandoned world. They decide to work together for their goals (Main character seeks to gain the powers of each hero and defeat the most evil villain within the world, Ironmouse wants to meet more people and find all the cinamarolls, and Pikachu wants a new companion since his world is gone and so is Ash) and visit different anime worlds starting with Dragon Ball (Set during The Frieza Saga). Once the main character gets enough power he will challenge the Mys that killed her and try to bring her back to life but may find out that strength won’t be enough to be the Mys. This game mostly has Shonen jump I.P’a but I threw in more anime I.P’s too (FMA, Beast King Go Lion or Voltron, Re Zero and Sailor Moon which I actually have never watched but felt we needed more anime girl worlds, also Studio Ghibli representation.) Would love a game like this to exist.

I saw a brief scene once as a kid, sometime between 1985 and 1988, most likely on a weekday afternoon syndication block in the US. For some reason I associate it with Voltron, but I can't certain. I only remember one short scene, but it's stuck with me for over forty years.

The scene: two characters talking at what I think is the mouth of a cave, or on a mountainside. Rocky terrain, and the whole thing reads dark blue in my memory. Not an evening scene or a scene at night, but the environment was a darker, cooler, blue color.

Character 1 is the villain — a sorcerer or dark-wizard type. Venger from the D&D cartoon or Darkstorm from Visionaries are the right neighborhood.

Character 2 is what I remember best: a humanoid with the face and beard of a white billy goat, otherwise built like a person, robed, clearly meant to be a sage, mystic or wizard. I have the impression he was a keeper or protector of something at that mountain.

The goat character seemed to be helping the villain without realizing what he was, which makes me suspect the villain was in disguise. At some point the goat character comments that the location has an unpleasant smell or odor. I distinctlyh remember the line "what is that smell?" The goat sage character's dialogue was a confrontational question. The villain character did not respond or if he did, he may have attacked the goat sage. Quite possible the that the goat sage's remark was a test of the disguised villain.

Animation style: definitely Japanese in tone and style which is why I default to Voltron. I did not see what happened after the goat sage's remark about the smell, so no giant robots that I can recall.

Already ruled out:

• Voltron (my original guess for decades; but a serious GoLion fan I asked about such an instance in an episode drew a total blank, and such a scene was out of character for the show).

Edited to add: the villain may have been Prince Lotor or Witch Haggar.

• ThunderCats — I've seen the Mongor episode, it's not him. The goat sage was benevolent.

• BraveStarr — I own the DVDs, wrong setting entirely.

• Ulysses 31 — animation style doesn't match.

• Visionaries — watched "The Age of Magic" and "Trail of the Three Wizards"; the tone, voices and animation are all very close, but neither episode has this scene.

• Dungeons & Dragons — checked "Cave of the Fairie Dragons," "Citadel of Shadow" and "The Winds of Darkness," no luck, though Venger's design does feel familiar.

• Galtar and the Golden Lance - not Hanna-Barbera animation, tone of the scene was opposite of Galtar.

Any ideas welcome, including obscure one-season syndicated shows.

Honestly I really like the Balmera and the inhabitants really great place in the galaxy. I was afraid that it would be destroyed by the bot. With them very soon taking on Zarkon I know it’s not quite over for them for a very long time unless they do defeat him before the end of season 8 and they do an epilogue which I shall find out when I get there. One other thing I noticed is that team Voltron was considered how mad Shiro got at the newest member of their new member, even though it’s shown how they don’t like him. I just have a feeling that being back in a Galra prison has triggered something in it. Hope Pidge gets to find her family by season 8. So yeah here’s my mini rant.

A friend on mine who is part of the Amazon Preview Program told me today during a casual discussion that they watched a film about a month ago about robot cats in space and I instantly knew

They were a little short on details but they said they enjoyed it a lot akin to the early transformer films and that it was basically complete bar some unfinished CGI

I know this might be known to some but this was news to me and I can’t lie I’ve got very excited at the prospect of maybe getting to watch this film before the end of year

Found these bizarre Voltron figures on the top shelf of a toy store today. They are Taiwanese/Hong Kong bootleg "Novelty Voltrons" from the 1980s that combine the classic Voltron look with random everyday items and gadgets:
Calculator Voltron: Features a fully functional digital calculator built directly into its chest, complete with number-themed arms and legs.
Camera Voltron ("Star Shooter"): The torso is literally a working 110mm film camera with a viewfinder and shutter button.
Shinkansen / Bullet Train Voltron: Has a distinct white chest shaped like the nose of a Japanese bullet train, designed to transform into a train car.
Flashlight Voltron: Features a small spotlight/bulb in the center of its chest that works as a functional flashlight.
Other Functional Variants: The top shelf also has models that turn into binoculars, water guns, wristwatches, and even AM radios/walkie-talkies.
Alongside these, there are rare color variants (like a black and gold Voltron), Vehicle Voltron (Voltron II) pieces, and mini pocket-sized versions.
Have any of you seen these functional novelty knockoffs before?

Ok it seams that the vibes of the last episode was a fluke and back to the old movement and writing from before. So review time. Because Pidge happens to be my favorite character I’ll start with her, so we finally get a little more about what’s happening with her family and that the writers haven’t forgotten about them. Having her go through the prison records to find them was really well done, I almost thought they would be forgotten about (and like in Andor) just serve as what got her into the gang in the first place. Now for Lance, he’s found his thing with sharpshooting with was really cool and him messing up with the Yeper was funny. Speaking of it, I did quickly pick of that she was only going to say “yep” after like the third of fourth time. And the actual guy they came after was so annoying. I know it is a combination of his intelligence and possibly a trama response but since we don’t know how long he’s been here, it’s hard to tell just from this episode. It also feels like in his “safety concerns “ he might have triggered some of Shiro’s old trama from being a prisoner himself, which partially explains why he was so close to losing his cool, also the dude was annoying anyways. So yeah, here’s my mini rant.

I read a fic a while ago where Lance raises his niece and nephew as his own before he gets sent into space. I can't remember if there was a pairing or not. I've been trying to find it on my own with no luck so now I'm reaching out for help
