Another transfer window passed, another reason to hate fosun.

Absolute shit

Some good free agents and james was a good signing but the squad needed more turnover and investment.

Unpopular opinion, but I think this transfer window has actually been a net positive, or at least one of the best transfer windows we've had in a long while. Got rid of the fodder, kept many of the good players like Krejci and Bueno. I think our full strength squad is good enough to be automatically promoted, just depends on how the internal affairs go. The attack and midfield are definitely a level above the championship once James slots in, and a fully fit defense of Bueno, Krejci, Bueno/Djiga, Trippier and Sa is also above the Championship. We're still waiting to see how Said does too. While it may be nice to see more new faces and get more fodder out, overall it's not a bad window.

Only unpopular opinion to Reddit kids

If this were the Premier League still, I'd agree - but right now just keeping the likes of Krejci and Santi Bueno make for a solid window.

We were literally struggling to give players away. In a season Wolves are under heavy pressure to slash expenses, that's a significant barrier when it comes to being able to bring in new players. They are still paying for the horrible signings of past windows.

It's also worth noting that two of our biggest signings have barely played.  Tripper and Said got injured early.

I genuinely think part of the problem is that an aspect of modern fandom is the excitement of refreshing your phone on deadline day and getting someone in. So by essentially not participating in that theater our entertainment has failed us. If we left Jordan James late I think the attitude would be different, but then he wouldn't have scored twice...

There isn't really a position in our XI that it makes sense to spend a lot of money on right now, it would've been Center back but we kept Krecji, so I don't know what people were expecting, just bench Toti. We could use a backup LB yes, but like the kid from Newcastle that's not sexy. And like you said by the end of the window we were giving players away, Sasa left solely for a sell-on fee which is crazy considering we bought him for almost 15 million, Johnstone and Hwang also left for pretty much nothing except the relief of their wages off the books. It'd be nice to sell everyone and start over but you need a market for that.

Sorry but if we'd waited until this week to get Raul, trips, Jordan james, another exciting winger AND kept 90% of our good players we'd all be shitting our pants about how great this window was, what's the issue?

The issue is they are short of quality depth in positions like RW. There will now be players that play out of position to fill that need. With potential injuries Tommy Doyle, Jackson, or Pedro Lima will be there. The club's stated goal was top 2. It's very difficult to get top 2 if you don't have enough depth in this league with the amount of games. If Cesar wants 2 strikers at once and one of ours gets hurt he has to play a 19 year old prospect that was supposed to go to league 1.

Big surprise, Fosun lies again. Dogshit owners who take our entire fanbase for fools.

No keeper is gonna haunt us

But we signed two keepers and retained Jose Sa? Genuinely curious what you would have done differently? I maybe would have retained Johnstone and moved Sa on as he always has a fumble in him

We’ve done good business what are you Reddit kids banging on about, you lot just really need to get a few more seasons of watching football under ya belt but you seem to know fuck all. Just because we haven’t had the perfect window and got everything we needed to do doesn’t make it a bad window.

Nathan made promises at the fan's forum that he hasn't kept. The window wasn't a complete disaster but all we ask for from Fosun is honesty and Nathan has proved he is just as much of a bullshitter as Jeff.

I still don't think this team is good enough to win the league.

Sorry but we got the players Rob wanted. CP chucked that list out and added his own.

It’s clear James, Trip and Jimenez were outlined before Rob was sacked. And it’s another VP situation with a manager having unrealistic targets.

I said we would lose last night. And I keep saying we won’t be promoted. CP is a stupid appointment and what happens when you listen to idiotic fans.

So agree, if Fosun and Nathan can’t ignore idiotic morons that support our club then they need to go. No owner should listen to a loser in a council house.

“Punching our way out” is the biggest lie I’ve ever seen the happy clappers buy from Fosun so far

They got lucky with Nuno, but even then they were too stupid to back him when we finished in European places back to back seasons. Not even penny wise, pound foolish, these chancers are just idiots.

We can look forward to another jaunt in League 1 before these fuckers are gone. Maybe CCP will jail Guo again and they'll be forced to sell?

Are you really surprised? Another load of lies told to the fans. What did they say we going to act like we are still a premier league club. 2 frees, an unknown winger and James. We had players who wanted out and we couldn’t shift. Sa basically wanted to leave for 2 seasons now and still here. Still no pace in this team crying out for another wide player or a centre forward with some pace. Now defensively we are relying on Santi and Krecji who if they do play will still want to leave in January.
