Neopren thickness
Hi, I would like to buy neopren for September/November riding in Europe. Which thickness would you recommend 3/2 or 4/3?
Do you use short sleeve neoprene on summer (let’s say cold windy day 20C and 19C water) ?

Full suit or a heater top? Are you always cold or have circulation issues?
Look, if you are going to buy a full wetsuit and you don’t have too much money or don’t want to crowd your closet, then I would recommend getting one for winter. The thicker the better. You can wear this wetsuit all year long, and during summer just get a heater top. You asked about 19 to 20c, that’s when I use the heater top.
Now if you have the money, then get multiple wetsuits and bring them with you to see which one feels more comfortable that day.
In my case I only own a 5/6 and a heater top. I use the heater top basically almost all the time except for really hot weather, and I use the wetsuit for anything after October. I’ve used that wetsuit in 2c air temperature.

I was thinking about full suit. I’m a beginner and this fall will be my first wakeboarding fall. Only circulation issue is cold feet but I hope system boots will help.

I use a long sleeve shorty, a 2mm Oneill hammer. Then switch to a 3/2 full oneill psycho.
The main pain point for me was the wind chill on the boat, especially when you are wet. One of the best things is a neoprene jacket like the chill killer, you can go very large with it because you want it to get on easy and very your wetsuit and life jacket and a hood you can pull up.

I’ve been thinking about getting one of these Pro-motion windproof jackets to wear on top of wetsuit. Problem with wetsuits is they’re cold outside water because water epavorates off the surface. https://stores.wetsuit.com/mens-thermal/

Id simply get a good 3/2. Those have By far the biggest temp range. I wore mine in windy 20 degree Celsius as Well as in fall with 10 degrees celsius
