The hardest part of getting demois to roll the daily race for the infested Kdrives.

Spent almost a week last time waiting for it and it's not a fun race, but fortunately I figured out you can cheat by using an arch wing to catch up at the part of the race that kept messing me up if you're quick enough to switch in and out.

That's what I did. I mastered the boards while doing the kdriven achievement. I finished all of the kdrive stuff around the same time.

Yup. There 5 boards to level up. One of them is locked behind a Deimos Race.

K-Drive Races give Mastery multipliers now, which previously they didn't and just had base rates which are fucking terrible.

honestly it sucks that there's almost no reason for you to ever even want to build a mod a K-drive, so few missions even let you use them and it's almost always better to juet use an Archwing in Open World

Certain mods can make it faster to get Ventkids standing, but that's also spending a ton of standing to get more standing to spend on pretty much exclusively more kdrive mods

The mods are VERY worth getting IF you're intending to master all of the boards, since you need to spend standing to get the board components.

IF you're even gonna bother with K-drives more than you have to.

Yeah that's kinda the problem, it's so exclusive and isolated to the point that it just doesn't really do anything else outside of K-Driving.

Like the only reason you'd ever build and use K-Drive mods is to build K-Drives and mastering them, basically just doing it for completionists sake.

The annoying bit is that the "best" K-Drives (determined STRICTLY by mods, NOT by board components - the plank gives mastery and it and the other components are otherwise just cosmetic) are NOT very good at the races because you're too fast, jump too high, fall too slow, etc. Because ALL of the race gates are placed as if you're on a K-drive with nothing in it.

You can put focus lenses on them and you kinda need one if you want to gain extra focus so that you can cast tauron strikes

The Yuvan that would become Yareli mocked the Kuva and the process of Continuity openly, which offended Ballas so much that he turned that Yuvan into Yareli.

Yareli then becomes the inspiration of the Ventkids to skid around on hoverboards, and the originator of the K-drive in general

Having done it all, I'll say it's not... especially bad? Certainly annoying, but once you figure out there's a maximum to affinity per trick, you can get a good groove going.

The real grind, however, is getting the platinum to buy the daily precon the vent rats sell. It bypasses needing to rank them up to get the other boards you need, for relatively cheap

K drives are pretty fast. If you try and do the achievement for finishing every k drive race, you'll get them all levelled up in the process. Or just spam the highest xp races when they show up and be done in an hour.

For normal items it does, according to the wiki it keeps increasing for items that gains additional capacity for items that can reach higher capacity on their own (Kuva weapons etc.)

I can't say for sure if that's true as I myself stopped at 30 too, or well, technically I stopped at 27-28 and have just slowly accumulated enough to hit 30 without trying since then.

Once you hit 30 that's it, you technically don't have to level weapons, I think you'd still be required to level Warframes for abilities

For those who want K-Drive mastery faster:

Farm Platinum and check the Ventkids' Today's Special. You can buy pre-made K-Drives with the boards you're missing, and boards are the parts that give mastery. Farming Platinum is faster and easier than grinding rep, buying the parts, and building each K-Drive. The only exception is the Deimos K-Drive, which can't be bought with Platinum and requires winning some races. Leave it for last, since leveleing the other K-Drives first will allow you to build them the bare minimum and make the races much easier.

Get the mods Primo Flair, Poppin Vert, Mag Locks, and Inertia Dampners. Those mods will fit all k-drives at 0 forma.

Go to Orb Vallis and grind the pipes behind Fortuna's entrance. Do a charged jump, perform 2 or 3 tricks in the air, land on the pipe while holding grind button, and do this until the multiplier reaches 6000. When it reaches 6000, interrupt the combo and repeat. It's even easier on controllers.

Takes 5-7 minutes to fully level a K-Drive with a affinity blessing + 3-day booster.
