Question How's graduation like at Nevermore?
We never got to see any graduations so far,and i wonder how it is. It would definetely be somehow gothic and very formal...

Some people have had trouble differating between civil debates and personal attacks. Im going to clear things up so you know whats ok to post and what will get comments removed and could lead to a ban.
Whats ok and encouraged.
Explaining why you don't like a character or a ship.
Ex. A: "I find the relationship toxic I don't think it would work out."
Ex. B: "I don't see the chemistry they seem like friends not lovers"
Ex. C "I don't like that character because I can't overlook their actions"
What's not ok and can lead to a ban.
Personaly attacking the other person or an entire fandom/ship.
Ex. A "Of course you would say that, your a XYZ shipper."
Ex. B "Your delusional if you think the writers would do that."
Ex. C "Well in the past your ship did this and that, so its ok we do this."
Let me make it clear the mods won't generalize fans or ships based on what happens outside the sub. We don't care who did what outside the sub. We care whats happening in OUR SUB here and now.
If we see repeated uncivil or coordinated behavior from the same people over and over again. We will step in to protect the integrity of the sub. If you see people personally attacking each other instead of respectfuly disagreeing please report it so we can do something about it.
We don't like any of you guys getting into trouble or causing it either. If you know you can't handle someone criticizing your favorite character or ship block them so you can't interact or see each others post. This is a place for civil discussions and debates not a public fight arena.

My idea: There could be a new teacher at Nevermore who was a student(in Nevermore) years ago. The principal of that season doesn't know that since when the new teacher went to school, the principal was still Weems. The teacher heard about all the things happening, and decided to protect the students at all cost. One day Wednesday gets in some kind of trouble again for investigating in the forest, and the new teacher talks to the principal and they end up not giving a really harsh punishment to Wednesday. And from that day they keep an eye out for her, since they feel that she will get in more trouble. Later Weems starts appearing to Wednesday again, since she felt something about the new teacher, probably because they are(at least partially) doing the same thing: keeping an eye on Wednesday so she can't cause that much trouble to the school and students. And later that season the new teacher ends up being Weems' long lost relative(cousin or second cousin),and that brings a twist to the story. And later the new teacher ends up seeing Weems too,but only in mirrors.
It may sound a bit crazy, but it came to my mind, and I think it sounds good.✨

Serán familiares Addams o Frumps; profesores o directores Nevermore... Licántropos, o Hydes del grupo de Isadora Capri??

Jenna Ortega, Fred Armisen, AND Emma Myers spotted filming in Paris for season 3. And Emma filming as Human Enid. Does this pique your interest?! Was this already known?

So I decided to do a re watch in B&W. I enjoyed it, didn't miss the colour. Got me thinking since Original series was in B&W then maybe this will work.
Some areas I found had more detail visible, Added to the spooky areas, Specific things not visible like the Purple/Green smoke, but I enjoyed it, I do recommend trying it.

Something about her eyes when she’s pulling her Wednesday face just looks more unnerving, it’s very fun to watch

They seem to have some weird connection. I wonder if that’s why she saved him on the table.
If you’re going to say Wednesday isn’t a killer, remember Wednesday set piranha loose on the swim team.

I see it either repeating a summer release or somewhere near Halloween. I hope they release it in late summer or somewhere in late September or early October
Its a better wait than 987 days between s1 and the first half of s2. But the days in total for the whole first & second season releases was 1,015 days.

I just finished watching Season 2, and I hate to say it, but like last time, I just wasn't impressed. The rewatch of the first half was better now that the whole season is out, and the back half was definitely stronger than the front, but overall? I was just bored.
I liked 2x6 and I really enjoyed Isaac/Slurp, but it still wasn’t enough to make this a good season. It honestly took me a year to get back into the show because it let me down so much, I kept fearing it would retroactively ruin Season 1 for me.
But thankfully, upon rewatching, I still love Season one. Does it have flaws? Yes. But the story was simple, beautiful to look at, and compelling as a whole.
Season 2, on the other hand, missed the mark for several reasons. The season felt way too crowded, and I really dislike the clean, bright visual filter they used compared to the first season's atmosphere. The subplots completely took over the show at times. Aside from Agnes, most of the new additions were characters I genuinely didn't care about while missing characters we met in season one that did not come back.
And Enid? Sure, wolfing out would change her because that was a given. But I hated how she basically got with Bruno before properly breaking up with Ajax, avoided Ajax to the point he had to hunt her down to confirm the split, and then had the nerve to get upset at Bruno for hiding things. It felt wildly hypocritical and completely out of character for her. I understand she is a teen and teens do stuff like this all of the time and Enid went through a huge change but it was just..... ugh. I hated it with a passion. And Bruno basically only existed to drive a wedge between Enid and Ajax, which felt cliché and completely unnecessary. Her wolfing out alone would have been enough natural drama as she adapted to a massive new life change.
I wanted so badly to love this season and give it a fair chance, but I constantly found myself bored and checking the runtime to see how much was left.
I’m really hoping Season 3 can recapture the charm and magic of the first season. But at this rate, while I might rewatch Season 2 just to stay prepped for future seasons, I'm sticking to Season 1 whenever I actually want to binge the show.

Last year, Season 2 was a huge miss for me. I found the first half to be very boring, and although the second half was a bit easier to enjoy, the whole season was ultimately a letdown. Which sucks to say because I love season one.
But I’m a firm believer in second chances, so I wanted to give it some time, revisit the show, and see how I felt. I was hoping maybe I wasn't in the right mood. Maybe because I was obsessing over Wicked at the time because of the first film and was eagerly waiting for part 2, maybe I was too deep into my new obsession to get into Wednesday season 2.
Maybe I needed to wait longer to get through my Wicked excitement to chill & get into season 2.
A few days ago, I binged Season 1 (took me about 3 days), and I still love it. It’s simple, has so much charm, and completely reminded me why I fell in love with the show in the first place and why I go back to rewatch it.
As soon as I finished Season 1 today, I jumped right back into Season 2 and unfortunately, my thoughts haven't reallly changed. I got super bored and stopped right as episode 3 started. I want to love it so badly, but I just don't.
My main issues? The coloring feels way too clean. Its odd to look at sometimes and out of place. The season feels way too patched with numerous characters, to the point where Wednesday often feels like a side character in her own show. Yes, in Season 1 you followed Bianca, Enid, Ajax, Weems, Xavier, Tyler, and a few others, but it never felt overwhelming and you got to get to know each character while reminding you who the show is about.
Confession: I actually avoided the show when it first came out in late 2022 because the dance scene was everywhere, I wanted the hype to die down before giving it a shot. And even when I gave it a shot in late December just to give in to my curiosity it was still everywhere.
But when I finally did watch it, I fell completely in love with the charm and the story.) Sadly, none of the elements I loved in Season 1 seem to be in Season 2. I’m still going to ride it out and hope it clicks for me bit by bit, but so far, it's a no-go. But I want to love it. I don't wanna join in on the hate because its popular to dog on it. There were moments I liked & I found the Freaky Friday vibe episode to be very entertaining. But other than one episode and a few moments that I remember, I don't have anything good to say.
But I did win that contest thingy and got a free t-shirt, stickers & an acceptance to Nevermore. Those were fun to have & I still have them.
If you enjoy Season 2, that's totally fine! We should have open discussions and respect each other's opinions. I honestly wish I loved it. I totally envy the Season 2 fans right now but I'm really struggling to find the will to continue.

I really love this whole episode, but this scene is one of my favorites. The way he looked at her, as she was walking down the staircase. The way him calling her beautiful made her speechless and shy. The slow progression, of Wednesday falling in love with Tyler, is something so special to see. I love them so much. 😭❤️🩹

...is that they’re so “baby’s first Monster Romance”. Monster Romance Junior. Between Wednesday’s lighter and comedic camp-horror tone and the YA setting, they’re a somewhat less intense but still nuanced and thematic entry-way into gothic monster romance for younger viewers who probably haven’t shipped or experienced a dynamic like that before (but thru Weyler are finding they have a taste for it), but without being especially sanitized or vanilla-fied. They’re genuinely effed up to each other! But it’s on a foundation of genuine attraction and connection, so they’re also obsessed with each other. Serving all the lovers-to-enemies(-to-?), love/hate, will-threaten-but-not-actually-follow-thru energy. And as a bonus, Wednesday isn't a typical heroine protagonist, she herself is a macabre freak born from two lines of macabre freaks. Part of her whole deal is being compelled and intrigued by monstrousness, so, what a combo. Especially with Hydes being outcasts even among the Outcast population—banned, rare, mysterious, feared, and still a puzzle, so there’s no way she’s letting that go any time soon (if at all).
anyway, alexa play "i'm in love with a monster" by fifth harmony

I was watching Tiktok and a video of a scene from the 1993 Addams Family movie came up.
When the baby Pubert He is "possessed" and his personality changes, his hair becomes blonde and curly and grandma tries to "exorcise" him, she reads his book and says that they could be permanent changes
To which Gómez and Morticia get scared and Gómez kneels down and looking up says "please take me"
Maybe he was talking to whatever he's taking to Pubert, It may just be a joke, but I'm curious if they really have any religious beliefs.
¿What do you think?
