Welcome to the addiction — first welds are always rough but you got metal to actually stick, which is the hardest part of day one.

The best I've seen in a long time, you should look into instructing, I'd like to see you weld a pride flag into that joint.

I had no thin rods so I had to use some thick ones which I had to use more amps. Then this catastropic thing appeared on thin metal.
