If you could afford to just throw away a tent like that after one or two nights use, you live a life of privilege

Tbf a lot of those tents look cheap and like $20. Tents aren't expensive.
You can even get huge nice tents for like $150.

Yea these tents are the cost of a beer or two at the event. Not a huge mental exercise to mull around.
