There’s a belief that the tents left behind are taken by charities and given to homeless or those who need them. This has been debunked by organisers time and time again as not being true.

Even if true, there would be a designated drop off where you can leave your collapsed and stored tent.

Entitled pricks will believe anything to avoid anything even beginning to appear as an inconvenience.

Question, how many of these festival goers are not entitled pricks?

I ask because with the exception of a few, most fair goers I have met seem to be looking for an excuse to get high, drunk while listening to music.

Wanting to get high and drunk at a festival does not make you an entitled prick. 

Abandoning gear and leaving waste strewn about with zero personal responsibility does.
