Spoiled fucking rich kids. That's what happens. My festival days are well in my rear view, but I went to Bonnaroo four times and M.O.E.down three times. A huge percentage of the people you'd meet were children of extreme privilege.

One year at Bonnaroo, we were camped one site away from a big group of such kids. They were nice enough I guess. They had seven or 8 tents, and tons of gear. The amount of shit they left behind was STAGGERING. We took as much as we could fit in our cars. I got a sick tent, a camp stove, a couple lanterns, my first ever bluetooth speaker, a nice rain poncho. and the coup de gras...a pair of slightly muddy, but clearly brand new La Sportiva hiking boots in my size. Like $300 or so.

All that stuff was definitely purchased for the trip.
